Giant anteaters, howler monkeys, ocelots, endangered jaguars and clouds of butterflies are among the attractions at this World Heritage-designated park that marks the border between Brazil and Argentina. By foot or by raft, explorers can view one of the world's most stunning waterfalls, Iguazu Falls. Among the park's 270 waterfalls, spectacular Devil's Throat combines 14 falls and generates a "perpetual rainbow" in good weather.

Here you can have comfort, a good localization with nice price. All apartments with bed box, air, cable TV and breakfast included.
I stayed there just as the lockdown was beginning; they were generally helpful but had limited (or no) English and so were not able to help with the situation of borders closing, National Parks closing, etc. Very close to the bus station (where the bus runs to the airport, Brazilian side of the Falls). Convenient for some adequate restaurants, but away from the main drag. Their website says they do laundry, but no laundry service in -house. But clean, comfortable, decent breakfast.

The pousada is ideally located in a secure and quiet part of town at only 10 minutes walk from the centre and on the way to the falls and Argentine border. My husband and I just returned from a trip to Foz do Iguacu, and we stayed at this property. Check in went smoothly, and the staff member who checked us in was very helpful, both when we checked in, as well as when our tour company failed to show up for our tour. He started the process of helping us make other arrangements for the tour, and then his colleague, Wagner, stepped in at the shift change. Wagner's help was invaluable!! We had another issue with a pick up later that evening for an event that we booked through the hotel, and he not only called the company, he also empathized with us and took a genuine interest in getting to know us while we waited for our pick up, which finally showed up an hour after the scheduled pick up time. The only negative that is worth mentioning is that all correspondence from the hotel before our arrival was in Portuguese, a language that neither my husband nor myself speaks. I reached out twice to the hotel to ask them to send emails in English but did not receive any acknowledgment of those emails and actually, subsequently, received another email in Portuguese, presumably to do a web check in from my guesses based on my knowledge of Spanish and some of the similarities between the languages. It turns out, none of that impacted our ability to check in in person, but what if it had? I realize the hotel is in Brazil, but consideration should be made for those of us who do not speak the language, or at least acknowledgment when proactively asked to send a translated summary of what is being requested. Ultimately, we appreciated the staff's kindness and assistance (including giving us a place to shower and change clothes after a long flight while we waited for our room), and hope they take the above suggestion about their correspondence into consideration.

Top hotel quality at hostel prices on the way to Iguassu Falls makes Charm Iguassu an excellent choice. Having worked in Iguazu's tourism industry for many years, Márcio and his family decided to go it alone and open their own place in 2008. Speaking fluent English, French, Spanish and Portuguese and clearly understanding the needs and wishes of tourists, the hostel is an impressive complex. Large spotless rooms and a relaxing swimming pool give visitors every chance of recuperating in comfort before and after visiting the waterfalls. The family atmosphere the hostel creates is none better shown than by its enormous homemade breakfast and highly helpful information from reception. Here you can book nearly any excursion you wish to in the area. The hostel is ideally located in a secure and quiet part of town at only 15 minutes walk from the centre and on the way to the falls and Argentine border. How to arrive From the bus station a taxi should cost under BRL 20, or take a bus to the city centre and then get on any bus heading to Argentina or the falls on the Brazilian side. Get off the bus 3 blocks after turning onto Avenida das Cataratas and turn right onto Rua Irlan Kalichewski. Charm Iguassu Suites is on the Right.
It is an average hotel but kind of cute and friendly. We only stayed there for 2 nights for visiting the Brazilian side of Iguassu falls and crossing to Cuidad del Este city in Paraguay. The rooms are okay, breakfast is nice and cute on a balcony terrace. Staff are kind and friendly. It is a nice walk from the hotel to Foz do Iguassu town. The town itself is small and charming somehow. If you are looking for a short budget stay to sleep, shower, and have breakfast and get going, then this is an okay place to stay at.

This unpretentious hotel surprised us. Right off the main avenue into Foz. Newly refurbished, nice linear decor, easy helpful check-in, safe on-site parking, lift for the bags. It was a pleasure to arrive here after a long day on the road. Smallish room but with sufficient space for our gear, neat tiled bathroom, clean linen, silent air conditioning, WiFi. Breakfast also surprised, good soft scrambled eggs, papaya, bananas, melon, sliced cheese, ham, cakes, cheese puffs, croissants, good coffee, carton grape and orange juice. It's a bit of a walk through the buildings to the back parking lot but you pass by several orchid walls. A great stay for a very reasonable price, about USD25, paid on a credit card.

Very comfortable hotel with nice beds and a decent breakfast. Hot water was a bit hit and miss, but apart from that it was fine. Reasonable price, but be aware it is well away from the restaurant strip and shopping. Probably better suited to those with transport as the have good secure parking. Note that there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage you should ask for a ground or first floor room.
