Maison d'hôtes de charme et de prestige, dans un hôtel particulier du XVème siècle au cœur du centre historique de Valence.
My husband and I stayed at the hotel last week with our small dog. The host was very kind and friendly and the rooms large and comfortable. The hotel is charming and the breakfast more that adequate. There is enclosed parking available and it is probably a good idea to make use of it.

An exceptionally large room was awaiting us; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather was not for using the swimming pool which looked very inviting. Convenient location for rooming rould the lower Rhone - this is wine country par excellance. Don't forget to visit The Crocodile Farm; an unexpected and exciting experience.

Very nice, cozy and warm place. We went there for dinner and enjoyed so much the meal, atmosphere and service. Excellent food. The hotel also looked very tempting, but can't say more. Would be happy to come again and also try a hotel.

Very welcoming to our family group including our labradoodle. The food was classic French and delicious. The house wine also classic and tasty. The best snails I've ever eaten- and I've eaten hundreds over 30 yrs of food exploration in Europe. Highly recommended.

Located between Lyon and Valence, in the Rhone Valley, ten minutes from the A7 highway, the “Pre aux Anes” is a former, renovated farm turned into a 3 star bed and breakfast. It offers a quiet and relaxing break and resting stop with a swimming pool, right next to Albon’s golf courses.

We were driving on Provence little roads when we hit the little village: " Le Serre du Turc" near Dieulefit. It was 1:30pm, and we were looking for a quick lunch. We saw Le Relais de la Serre and asked the owner if they would accept to serve us, even if it was quite late for a French lunch. We were welcomed and ushered to a very nice dinning room with fine tablecloth and decorations. Helen, our young waitress was highly professional. The menu is very diverse and everything looked good. My wife and I chose 2 menus at Euro 26.00 and a bottle of local rose wine from Vinsobres. Everything was delicious. When we were almost finished, the owner Loulou, a sympathetic 68 years old local, joined us and we started to talk, about the region, his achievements, etc. In short we spent two fascinating hours. Loulou invited his wife Odile to join the conversation. He ordered another bottle of wine, coerced us to taste his dessert specialty a Vacherin (ice cream dessert), ordered some champagne and coffee. We will certainly come back, if possible during the fall and winter season, when his menu is focused on black truffle and game meat.

Valsoyo welcomes you in an authentic landscape in the heart of Drôme just 20 minutes from Valence. With its unusual architecture, the estate immerses you in the atmosphere of its themed apartments (different countries) and its insolit accommodations. Discover also its natural park with many activities around a small lake: ziplines, footgolf, orientation course, 3 wheeled bikes, blowgun segway, children games etc. Everything is planned to disconnect you from your daily life and make you live a new experience. We look forward to welcoming you!
I looked for an overnight stop in this area and came across this place. I noticed the TA reviews were really good so gave it a go. Firstly, the grounds of this hotel are absolutely lovely, really beautiful. The hotel I think is also a centre for team building / sports activities etc and as such I can imagine it's really popular - fantastic facilities. We were there on a Friday night and the peace and quiet was lovely. Anyway, we booked one of the quirky chalets as a bit of light hearted change from the usual when going home. The chalets are themed (as are the rooms within the main hotel building) ours was 'Grand Nord' (hunting, trapping, etc) could imagine something similar in a Disney resort. It's quite small but we found it ok with 2 teenagers for 1 night. In the bathroom, the shower head was a watering can!! Upstairs was an amusing challenge to get to up the rustic wooden planks. If you're elderly or have restricted movement, you may be better off in the main hotel. The two chalets are a little way away from the main hotel building and as such the peace and tranquility was lovely. Also worth mentioning that the welcome was really friendly. You could get breakfast but we wanted an early getaway. Summary; Fun 'themed' chalet was a real treat. Ok for one or two nights. Bit of a squeeze but lovely with it! Definitely recommended - we couldn't stop laughing.
