Very nice Hotel for Business-Trips
Reviewed By towi1606Big, new, comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast, friendly Staff. I was there several times and I can recommend it. The only minus is the location itself, so you have to use the car to go somewhere. The "Hohle Gasse" from Wilhelm Tell is just 400m away, but not reachable by feet. But this has nothing to do with the Hotel itself...

Unexpected Surprise in Siebnen
Reviewed By Peter EMy wife and I spent a total of 6 nights at the Schaefli in July. We chose the hotel on the basis of its relative affordability compared to other hotels in the area. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation and of the restaurant, which exceeded our expectations. Siebnen is not noteworthy as a town, but it is very convenient for many interesting attractions in the region. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well equipped (although there are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms), the restaurant offers a good range at breakfast and dinner. We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel as a base for business or leisure.

Wonderful huskies, lovely room and restaurant but husky 2-hour activity in German only
Reviewed By H2170DOmariakWe really liked our time at the Husky Lodge. The dogs are so friendly and playful and clever. The rooms were nice and the restaurant was lovely, with good food. We also really enjoyed the sauna and the staff at reception was very helpful. Our one disappointment was that the husky 2-hour activity - the main reason we came and stayed here - was in German only, so we understood nothing. And sadly two ladies who did the activity spoke English but made minimum effort to translate for us despite our request, just enough that we know what to do and not disrupt others. This is Switzerland so if not English than at least French translation should be offered - it is an official language here after all. So that spoiled a bit the experience, but other than that it was a lovely place and super dogs!

The modern clean rooms have great bedding, a good office space and standard bathroom ( I am not a big fan of showering in bath). The hotel serves a good breakfast and the friendly staff makes you feel at home.

Reviewed By SusieJKOur room in the hotel had fantastic views of the lake but the room itself was very old (1960s?). Service was not great - no-one at the front desk, and no answer to the number to call for check-in service. Was quiet though. Breakfast OK. Overall, not great value for money.

Beautifull location, long waiting time, mediocre food.

We had to wait 15 minutes for ordening, then we waited 45 minutes for wine and water and subsequenly another 15 minutes for the food: caesar salad and egli fillet. We specifically ask for an Italian dressing, which we got separately with a salad already swimming in a French dressing. The caesar salad had a tiny bit of parmesan and no egg. The egli fillett was fine, but overpriced. This restaurant needs a work-up.

The team at Stockberg made me feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would highly, highly recommended this to anyone wanting to find a room / hotel apartment with all comforts and to a high standard. Easily accessible to shops within 2-3 mins.

Good Business Hotel - Fantastic comfortable beds
Reviewed By Sofie13The secretary reserved the new hotel for me. I was sceptical because it is a self-check in. I was explained what to do at the automatic self check in. But it was so easy. There was no que to check in I got my key that took me to the garage and with the elevator I found my way to the hotel! Surprises... such large rooms and very spacious, great colours for the furniture and beddings The famous swiss mattresses (Happy Bed) on the Boxspring bed was just a perfect combination! I would have loved to carry the bed with me! Great hotel. I think they will get 4 starts once it is rated. The hotel is just at the highway but the windows insulatio is so good you hear nothing. There is an aircleaning system in the room. So you dont smell exhaust gases from cars. The free WIFi is very fast. I will definitely return
