Grey Harding’s was a pick out of the blue to stay in Montrose ! Myself & my husband chose somewhere we have not been before for our Wedding Anniversary & New Year and we have had an amazing stay, despite the Restaurant not running & only serving breakfast, which was good, it was a lovely stay. Well situated near the beach, Golf (if you like Golf of course), if you like a walk then a nice stroll along the beach or into town. Due to no restaurant running the hotel were very helpful with local recommendations which was very helpful and due to some restaurants closing over New Year the hotel was happy to provide a table, plates and cutlery for a takeaway. The room was well appointed (no cleaning of room due to COVID policy - no prob for us though) for our 4 night stay, the bathroom & shower modern and very good. The bed very cosy & comfortable and plenty of storage space to unpack for a longer stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean, nice little bar, lounge area and dining area with view over the links. The staff have been very polite, helpful and lovely to talk to and who have made our stay such a lovely one. Well recommended and we will certainly return again, hopefully the restaurant will be up & running by then. There are still things we have not yet visited so we will definitely return. Many thanks to all - Roos Leap and Stroma Restaurants stand out for excellent meals.

Stayed here for the night has we had a family party in the town the alleyway from the car park to the hotels entrance could do with lighting all the time as it was still hard to see where you were going even in the daylight room was quite comfortable and big enough for our needs view wasn't inspiring as we looked out on to a roof when we arrived back in after attending our party we heard this constant loud humming noise coming from outside whether it was coming from the hotels nightclub or a extractor fan it wasn't what we were wanting to hear trying to get to sleep the other downside was the password for the WiFi didn't work

I stayed here for 4 nights while on family business nearby and found it comfortable and clean, with friendly helpful owners. there is also ample private parking and good WIFI. I did find that there was a bit too much in the way of "air freshener" (plug in etc) for me, but that's probably my problem and it certainly didn't seem to be to cover up any horrible smell! Also almost no electrical sockets in the room and very little in the way of clothes hanging space or hooks in the room. However overall I found it fine and would be happy to stay again.

We visited on Sunday 22nd May and Friday 27th May and received a warm and friendly welcome both times. We were there for food as we were staying in self catering accommodation within walking distance. Our food was delicious and served with a smile. I had strips of beef with a mushroom sauce and basmati rice. Hubby had hake with sliced potatoes, asparagus in a creamy lime sauce. Second time I had battered haddock with chips and peas and hubby had rock turbot with a lobster and mussel sauce. All meals were delicious.

I had a lovely stay at the Hermitage. A beautiful traditional building but upgraded with modern, well finished en suites and extremely comfy beds. Wendy was extremely welcoming and acomodated my special requests to arrive late and have an early breakfast. The food was great quality and I'd highly recommend the arbroath smokies! Wendy provided a handy list of good local restaurants, so I easily found a nice restaurant to eat in on each night of the week. I would happily recommend and stay again in future - thanks for a lovely stay!

Situated a short walk from Brechin town centre, Gramarcy House is a traditional Scottish sandstone villa which has been tastefully modernised to a very high standard. Our rooms are comfortable and are all ensuite and breakfast is served using only the best local produce that Angus can provide.
Recently stayed for 3 nights. Would have no hesitation in staying again. Agnes made me feel so welcome, lovely house, very family friendly feeling about the place. Nothing was to much for Agnes. After a very long train journey, I did not arrive until 9pm, it was not a problem for Agnes. Breakfast was lovely, very filling. Room very spacious, bed lovely and comfortable and quiet.. . 2 minute walk from the centre of Brechin, bus services are very frequent. Would definitely stay again

Carnoustie's only 5 star accommodation, we are situated in the centre of town. A Victorian villa, originally built for the owner of a shoe factory, we have a lovely walled garden and private parking at the side of the house. We are convenient for several good restaurants and within walking distance of the Carnoustie Championship Golf Course. We are ideally situated for those wanting to delve into history and explore the local castles or visit Dundee with it's new V&A Design museum and other attractions.
Outstanding service, immaculate communication, perfect rooms and a superb breakfast. Debbie is a role model host and I will for sure return. She does that little extra all the time. Don’t stay anywhere else in Carnoustie. Stay here! If not, well then that is your loss. Perfect stat!
