San Teodoro is a typical seaside Sardinian town, with lovely beaches, great restaurants, and a giant flock of pink flamingos. Well, maybe those flamingos aren’t so typical… but they’re certainly distinctive! Visit the San Teodoro Lagoon between beach excursions to see them and other rare birds.

Picturesque long stretch of beach with crystal clear shallow waters and fine sand. Large car park right next to the beach (chargeable), but can be walked in about 25 minutes from San Teodoro centre. As one end there are two nice beach bars serving drinks and light snacks at reasonable prices. The further down the beach you go the quieter it becomes if you prefer it not so busy. Lots of sun loungers available for a daily charge. Certainly one of the best beaches in the area.

A must visit, travelling the Sardinian east coast and probably one of the best beaches in Sardinia. Be early, the beach tends to be crowded at lunch time.

We love this beach. It is to the day the best one in Sardinia. Great selection of food and drinks and you can even pay with the credit card. Sun chairs are on the lower end of the pricing compared with the costa smeralda. Parking is free. Sea is very clear and not too deep. Sand is soft and white. Can get very crowded in August. September and July / June are amazing. Mostly Italian tourists.
