Continental Greece (Greek: Στερεά Ελλάδα, Stereá Elláda; formerly Χέρσος Ἑλλάς, Chérsos Ellás), colloquially known as Roúmeli (Ρούμελη), is a traditional geographic region of Greece. In English the area is usually called Central Greece, but the equivalent Greek term (Κεντρική Ελλάδα, Kentrikí Elláda) is more rarely used.

This is a paradise beach. Perl-like tiny pebbles are an attraction on their own; make overall colour of the beach shell pinkish white with lots of the pebbles having pink colour in them. You will want to take some of them home. No way to make sand castles out off perls. Water is clear even when stormy, offering adventurous swim along the shore with high and low ancient rocks out and in the water with playful unafraid fish; discovering private spot beaches unreachable from land. Paddling watersports shop is there. But not scuba diving, not skiing or other speedy motor boat sports. Lots of diving from high rock to rock pool. Beach beds are there for you when you buy a drink or two from the front - keeping restaurants, and you can't avoid that anyway. Treat yourself to a freshly squeezed orange juice. Coffee-man paradise here with a variety of hot and cold coffee drinks. All other facilities are there in numbers. Food is great fresh local and prices are modest. I would say it's small child friendly as the pebbles provide sensory therapy experience for all. For older ones supervision is necessary as for untrained emotions rocks can be dangerous. I saw many boisterous divers risking no matter what. Possibly hard to keep them from climbing rocks and diving off them.
