Vizag is a lovely city and always has been my favourite, this was my third trip to vizag and i visited this offbeat beach away from the city, the beach is isolated and offers a great view of the dolphin nose. You might have to change 2 buses from the main bus stand to reach there

Its just a 5 Hour Drive from Hyderabad...nice atmosphere...Brindavan resort has good rooms attached to beach..best thing is no mosquitoes..A good 2 day trip can be suggested.

Chirala is a good beach - clean, less crowded with moderate waves. Only downside is there are no life-guards and to eat you have to go to one of the resorts (Sea breeze is the nearest with decent, reasonably priced food). There are 2 fishing village on the coast road which can make for some nice pictures. Be careful, both Chirai beach and Hotel Sea Breeze are marked wrong on Google maps, Best is search for Hotel Sea Breeze through Tripadvisor and use the location link.

Ramakrishna beach, more popularly known as RK beach in Visakhapatnam is located in the heart of the city’s coastline. If you stand in the middle, on the right you can see the Dolphin’s Nose and on the left, you can see the INS Kursura parked just by the sea. People have couple of activities to explore like Speed boat, Jet ski rides and kayaking, also on the way to Rushikonda we can also experience paragliding as well. The location is also home for surfing and scuba diving

In order to spend some hussle-bussle free days, please go ahead to Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh and take auto to SURYALANKA BEACH, its nearby (40 mins distance approx). You can take accomdation in APDTC Haritha Beach Resort, Suryalanka and the rooms are amazing having direct sea view. Food is good with flavor of South Indian Cousine but Chinese cousine is available there. The sea view from the cafeteria is amazing. You can spend your lazy afternoon just infront of the sea, from the resort premise itself. As it is somehow less explored beach, you can enjoy serenity here. Different types of sea life you can see if you are lucky. We got some variety of Jellyfish. From Suryalanka, pay a small visit to Chirala to enjoy a different angle of sea-beauty. Please bring BSNL sim as its defence protected area.
