Second only to Berlin in size and population, the city of Hamburg is home to one of the biggest harbors in Europe. A stroll along its many waterways and canals illustrates why it has been called the "Venice of the North." Don't miss a trip to the local fish market (Fischmarkt), the Merchants District (marked by its imposing red-brick architecture), a fine dining experience along the river or a night out in the university quarter. And did we mention the Reeperbahn (red light district)? It's quite famous for its… red lights.

Just steps away from the Central Station, M&V Bar is open daily with top beers on draft, longdrinks, shots and a proper wine list. We got the latest tunes, monthly events and throw partys from time to time. M&V has a pub ambiance with booth seating, some barfood and a young mixed crowd that packs the place on weekends. We are independently owned, hetero-friendly ;) and award winning
Lovely wood panelled gay bar with seating booths and more tables at the back. Great alternative feel. Extensive cocktail list with proper spirits and mixers. Mixed crowd, both young and older. Looked hetero friendly too. Friendly, efficient service. Highly recommend for the gays (and everyone else) in Hamburg.
