Tucker's Grave Inn & Campsite

Legendary Somerset pub Tuckers Grave Inn, was built in the mid 17th Century near the burial site of its namesake Edward Tucker This historical pub has remained unchanged since WW1, and is on the 'National Inventory of Historic Interiors' Tuckers has a truly unique & authentic feel as well as being only one of 6 or so pubs like this left in the UK without an actual bar.. The campsite is a nifty two minute stroll from the pub and is spread out in a gorgeous countryside setting, ideal for city dwellers looking for a rural experience. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a well earned pint

As always a fabulous trip at a fabulous location with fabulous people. Thank you Jo and team you are doing a great job with tough new rules. The toilets, on the actual campsite, albeit, only portaloos are absolutely spotless and a credit to your cleaning crew. Fully stocked with every anti bacterial wipe and spray you would ever need. Better than some toilet blocks I’ve seen in other places! Cider is great, pub is great, staff are great and overall a 5 ********** place to stay. Only sad thing, we are missing the music but fully understand under current circumstances this cannot be but fingers crossed ???? it will be back soon. Thank you Jo and gang XX

The Hideout

Hidden away in the historical lanes of Tudor Bath is a true gem. Stone walled, wood laden and walls lined with whiskey for every taste. Legend tells us this was originally a hoard for thieves, highwaymen, scoundrels and opportunists alike, a place to laugh and cheer, make new contacts and strike deals. A meeting place for every lawless reprobate for miles around, where stories are told and drinks are shared. For years this whole in the wall was a haven for the outlaws of their day, unruliness was rife and law enforcement were scared to set a foot anywhere near. Steal from the rich and come and spend the bounty here. It was a perfect Hideout. A collection of over 150 Whisk(e)ys from all around the globe. But don't worry we have a craft cocktail list created by the team, draught beers and of course a wide range of spirits. See you soon #HiddenDrams

My husband and I stayed in Bath for a long weekend and found this “hidden gem” (pun intended) for an afternoon tipple! The staff are so welcoming, fun and helpful that we had to return the next two days! Great selection of cocktails, a quirky little bar with a friendly vibe :)

BeerCraft of Bath

Come and have a great craft beer from one of our taps and then browse our large range of beers (around 500) from some of the best craft breweries in the UK and from around the world. We have chillers that can cool any beer down in under 2 minutes, so you can enjoy anything from our shelves too. The beers we have on tap change regularly, so there's always something new to try. Remember to view our events page to see if we have any tasting evenings that coincide with your visit. We have plenty of seating, a couple of tables on the pavement, tables in the shop and lots more in our downstairs lounge. We also have some great wine, prosecco and gin to keep those non beer lovers happy. If you don't have the time to join us for a beer, you can take away lots of beers to enjoy later. See you all soon.

Opium Bar

A vintage and curious cocktail bar found in some of Bath's unique vaults; we're in the heart of this World Heritage City. A quirky and delightful secret for the lucky few that venture to find it, Opium is tucked away under the landmark Pulteney Bridge much like the old Laudanum and Opiate dens of the Victorian era. The bar is stocked with a wide range of international beers and spirits and staffed by bartenders who can mix and concoct these ingredients into the most wondrous (and affordable) cocktails you've ever indulged in. It's easy to imagine yourself in the company of Sherlock Holmes, H.G Wells, Janis Joplin or William Burroughs as you sip your perfectly made cocktail. Check out the secret room for parties. To appreciate the beauty of the place, have a virtual tour on our website.

This bar is very cool and the attention to detail from the bar star is incredible. I really like the decor and the relaxing vibe with the cushions. Their espresso martini was the best one I've ever tasted and they also gave me a choice if I wanted it sweet or strong. Only slight issue for me was the smell of the incense sticks, was very strong!

Such a huge variety of whiskies and gins! Great pub. Super atmosphere. Football on 3 screens, but no sound so you could still have a conversation. Friendly and welcoming staff. Locals very friendly. Would choose this as my local if I lived here. Will definitely revisit. Loved it.
