We happened upon this pub at the end of a nice walk and asked if they had space. The staff were very friendly and soon had us settled. The carvery was wonderful and there was such a large choice of vegetables. The attention to detail to make the pub COVID safe were the best I've seen anywhere and we felt very safe and therefore were really able to relax. We will certainly be back when in the area again.

Myself and my partner came in today for some food, I had the homemade soup and some warm crusty bread and it was lovely, my partner is a big fan of pies and she knows a good pie from a bad pie, she was very happy with the chicken pie and loved the gravy, the head chef Leighton even came over to see if we had enjoyed our meals, a very nice man he told us the landlord made the pies himself, the staff were very nice too especially jack who didn’t charge me for my lime dash in my pint! Would highly recommend
