Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

In the middle of Manhattan where I expected everything to be the usual commercial beers and lagers it was great to find a bar with decent craft beers and decent atmosphere. Special thanks to the bartender Nick who made some absolutely fantastic suggestions (the “Golden Delicious” was superb) and his enthusiasm was amazing. This place was well worth a visit

We found this outside of the Empire State Building and the prices looked reasonable. I had a burger as recommended by the waitress and my husband had chicken fajitas. The burger is the best I have had since being in New York and my husband really enjoyed the fajitas. Would definitely recommend

There's nothing better than after a long day of walking around Manhattan and sitting down to have a drink. Well this is the place to go... We were lucky to be given a seat straightaway at about 5pm on a Monday when we arrived. Drinks and nachos were served very quick by a very pleasant member of staff. We were going to go after one drink but the views were stunning especially of the Empire State building, I mean it's so close it feels surreal. But we noticed a couple were leaving a table which had a better view so we swapped which was easy to do. The waitress was brilliant to secure it for us. Anyway we then stayed another 3 hours to see the sunset in which is not too bad at all when you look towards Macy's. The vibe of the place is great, the music isn't too loud and people are generally very friendly! What an exciting rooftop bar to go to when in New York. Shame we never made it back there but will be sure to go back next time we visit.
