Recommended by the lovely staff at furlongs (another great pub) we came in here for a few drinks before we headed back home on the train. Incredible beer selection and the staff made me and my partner feel so welcome. Norah and Jack gave us great information on the beers and let my hubby try probably more than he needed. we will definitely be back soon. My only criticism would be they have no background music but when the locals piled in it did not matter to much.

As ever, an amazing experience at a proper pub, and I'd wager, the finest freehouse in Faversham. Covid guidelines were, as expected, meticulously adhered to at this stalwart of Alehouses. There was something for every palate on this occasion with the usual ever changing selection of local and regional ales. Adhering to my own drinking guidelines which are loosely based on similar CAMRA directives for the seasoned drinker. I remained in situ for my second pint and did not leave thereafter until closing time. Conclusion: Highly Recommended, Sine Timore Aut Favore.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. The food was excellent, with good sized portions and would definitely return. Some had roasts others the homemade pie and I had the crab as a main and the staff suggested roast potatoes with it which worked well. The staff were very friendly. Not a vast choice on the menu but that’s good as everything is cooked to order. Everybody enjoyed their food.

A cosy warm country pub, The fire had been lit, the staff friendly and helpful A lunch served for a group of 17 - pre-ordered from the extensive menu. Various choices had been made by us from the menu and all well presented. The vegetables were well cooked and not the usual pub choice The Suet Pudding and its filling of lamb & mint was well received. A pleasant lunch on a very wet afternoon.
