Laissez les bons temps rouler! In New Orleans the good times are perpetually rolling down Bourbon Street, which, thanks to the city’s annual Mardi Gras celebration, has quite a party animal reputation. Once you’ve soaked up the scenery of the historic French Quarter, tour the elegant Garden District and meet the colorful characters of Frenchmen Street. Experience the city's supernatural vibe at the Voodoo Museum or by taking a guided ghost or vampire tour through taverns, alleyways, and cemeteries.

The Spotted Cat Music Club is the Quentessential Jazz Club of New Orleans. Located just steps from the French Quarter, in the Faubourg Marigny District on Frenchmen St. "The Cat" has been a local favorite for live New Orleans music from Jazz, Blues, Funk, R&B and Klezmer.Internationally acclaimed as a TOP 150 Jazz Club and featured in numerous Films and print media, "THE CAT" features local musicians bringing the best the city has to offer!
Frenchman Street and The Spotted Cat in particular, have become a favorite destination for us when we're in New Orleans. The drinks are reasonably priced and they don't push you to order while you're enjoying the entertainment. The bands are always fantastic and not to be missed!

Visited last week while visiting the city on a solo trip. Strolled by on a Thursday night and found out it was Reggae Night. It was a $5 cover, but it was the best $5 I spent the whole time in New Orleans. I live in DFW where folks barely dance but that was not the case here. At Blue Nile, everybody was getting it in on the dance floor. Music selection was awesome and I even found a good looking fella to whine on ???? Drinks weren't too expensive and the place definitely got packed. Will definitely be back my next visit to NOLA.

This place is fantastic. You can buy a bottle of wine inside (solid selection) and go outside to their lovely patio and hear great jazz!

Popular club in New Orleans attracts an eclectic crowd.
Loved the side-by-side rooms, allowing one room to serve purely as the bar and the other to serve as a performance venue, and the double bar. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun--saw all kinds of people of all ages there enjoying their evenings--and the music was incredible. I highly recommend catching a show by the Soul Rebels in this venue!
