Vlad the Impaler stated his claim to Bucharest in 1459. His citadel on the Dambovita was the first of flotillas of palaces, many of which still stand. Four subway lines and a modern bus network transport visitors and commuters. Nicknamed "Little Paris", Bucharest's elegant early 20th-century architecture shows French influences. Don't miss the Village Museum, Romanian Athenaeum and the Peasant Museum. You can't miss the Palace of Parliament, the second-largest building in the world (after the Pentagon).

If you like loud music, and metal of all kinds, this is your place to go. It's located at the end of an alley in the old town, the perfect spot for such a place. Had not expected to find this, but got this recommended by a good-to-become-friend who met us there later on as well. Downstairs is the bar, one can also sit upstairs at a couple of tables. Music is loud, beer is cheap. Nice spot to get really drunk and meet cool people!

I happened to enter Terminus while I was trying to search for some restaurants nearby and found really good once I entered the "Terminus" Pub. The reason I felt so good was because of the staff member Mr. Alfred Cristian because he was so cheerful and welcoming. As I was hungry, he really cared and got my order real quick and delicious. Generally speaking I believe that it is not the place alone which makes it great, but the qualities of "Great Hospitality" by the people. And I can vouch for Terminus Pub for anyone who would love to have a good time and be surrounded with friendly people who love to smile whenever you smile. Greatness and Awesomeness. And lastly, after the first impression of Terminus Pub hospitality and meeting Mr. Alfred Cristian who served me with great happiness; I continued going there everyday until my stay in Bucharest.
