With its rich cultural heritage from Native American and Spanish settlers, New Mexico has been both a Spanish colony and a Mexican colony, and still retains a strong individual identity within the United States. The landscape is breathtaking, the food incredible, and there is a thriving cultural scene, all of which makes New Mexico, and Santa Fe in particular, a great place all year long.

An art gallery specializing in 19th- and 20th-century American art.
Sometimes it's the setting/location that makes a place and Nedra has it in spades. The historical buildings, classic interior rooms, vault, and art would make this a must stop but add in the garden area and that makes this a very special place. Every staff member would answer questions that I'm sure they are asked dozens of times per day. It's educational along with great art viewing.

Located in the heart of Arroyo Seco, NM, Rottenstone Pottery features premier local ceramic artists, sculptors, painters and photographers.
You can see the magical influence of the Taos landscape in the the artwork on the shelves at Rottenstone Pottery. It is a place to find a souvenir or marvel at the skills of the local talent. We could not resist the "wine cups" that are perfect for tea, coffee, soup and more.

This Gallery is mostly outdoors...you will want to sit and watch (so bring a coffee or the like?) and be mesmerized by these moving sculptures you will surely want to buy. They also have stationary sculptures that would add interest to your garden but we spent more time watch the moving wind sculptures. This area is full of galleries and can be crowded if not visited in the off season. Advice: go early to snag parking or take public transport.

This high desert sculpture garden sits near natural rocks that beautifully frame the artwork. Based on origami concept, the artist and his staff we’re welcoming and very friendly. I love the work and will return!
