An intimate gallery in the center of historic Lancaster showcasing the work of artist John Elles. The main theme of John's work is Lancaster itself - the architecture and street scenes reflect John's interest of colorful nostalgia and borrow themes from the French masters. A must-see for tourists and visitors to the town.
I've long been a fan of John Elles' work. His art, particularly the pieces featuring Lancaster's famous haunts and landmarks (the Ashton Memorial and Town Hall being just two), is absolutely stunning. I recently got in touch with John to enquire about a piece for my parents - Lancaster Town Hall (our wedding venue) with my husband and I in the pic, and I was bowled over with both the final piece and the service John provided. He paid attention to all the little details, including the time we got married (with the town hall's clock hands showing pretty much the exact time we left the venue after tying the knot) and he created a beautifully atmospheric picture. We've given it to my mum and dad as an early Christmas present and they absolutely loved it. Thank you, John. If you're in Lancaster, make sure you pop into the gallery for a look around. John can add his own unique spin to any of your family photos and you will be chuffed to bits with the result, as we were. I challenge you to visit John's gallery and not want to buy at least one piece for yourself.

The Wolf House Gallery is an emporium of hand picked gifts, homewares and original art by British Artists and Makers, located in the coastal village of Silverdale, Lancashire.
Wonderful piece of cake and a really good cup of tea sat in the sunshine. Had pistachio and lemon cake delicious. Then went in the gallery next door. Some beautiful gifts for sale, unusual and reasonably priced. Lovely lady serving us. Very helpful. Bought my friends 70th birthday present and it's not until December. There was an amazing sea glass garland I would have loved. But my husband didn't take the hint. The sun shone lovely day out

Set close to the Pennine Moors this Arts and Crafts house contains the largest public collection of Tiffany glass outside of America. A rolling programme of temporary exhibitions means there is something new to see each time you visit. The grounds feature a stunning rose garden, woodland, lawns and meadows and there is a fabulous woodland trail through the local nature reserve. Based in the house is the fabulous Gallery Kitchen specializing in Afternoons Teas, Brunch and a selection of Main Meals. With a licensed bar the Gallery Kitchen can meet most peoples needs.
A second visit for me to this lovely Arts and Crafts house with its artworks and the fantastic collection of Tiffany glass wares. We were lucky enough to be there when the curator was showing a group around and explaining the different techniques used as well as the history and the characters. The cafe is very pleasant and has table service and a good range of food and drinks available. There is no charge for entry but donations are welcome.

Glasform is located in the heart of the Fylde Coast a short journey from Blackpool, Preston and Lytham St. Annes. The furnace runs 365 days a year in what was the shippon used to house the cows when Pointer House Farm was once a Dairy farm. We are open to the public and in an informal setting, visitors can watch the glassblowers at work using techniques hundreds of years old. There is also a showroom full of beautiful handmade glass to view and purchase.
Lovely place to visit, beautiful pieces on display and I could of watched the glass blowing for hours! Blown away (excuse the pin) when Mr Ditchfield came and engraved a beautiful glass robin I bought as a gift for my mum, she is going to love it. Very special place to visit.
