Just stopped by quickly on our way through with our daughter and so thrilled that we took the time to find this little studio - Helen and her partner were so welcoming, and our daughter loved hearing Helen talk to her about painting and drawing - even having a chance to get close up to one of Helen's current projects! Walked away from the studio with a lovely little print and a colouring book for Maisey to get her teeth into - will definitely be looking to buy more art soon, as standing in this studio surrounded by so much colour made us feel so happy - a must see if you're passing through :)

Located in the heart of rural Carmarthenshire, this gracious stone building, once a mill, then a farm stores is still the focal point of St Clears. In recent years, the building has been converted and adapted to provide an art gallery & exhibition centre, Welsh crafts and gift shop, meeting rooms, artist studios to hire, as well as cafe and St Clears library.

The gallery represents 45 leading painters, sculptors and printmakers and specialises in contemporary Welsh art. Our gallery in Llandeilo was established in 1989 and has 80sqm of exhibition space arranged over two floors. Our Cardiff gallery opened in 2012 and has 60sqm of exhibition space situated within Cardiff’s chic Morgan Arcade. Both galleries hold a continuous program of exhibitions from solo to mixed group shows. At any one time the gallery holds over 200 works and this stock may be viewed at either gallery on request.
