Just the place for relieving those lockdown blues. A wide open space under open skies. A great area for walking your dog or just yourself. There's lovely views of All Saints Church. There's benches for sitting and ample parking. If you don't know where it is, when driving through the village follow signs to the Recreation Ground

Speedway Racing – Mondays at Central Park Stadium. It’s a pure adrenalin rush as speedway riders’ race against each other on 500cc bikes which can accelerate from 0-60 quicker than a F1 car, with NO BRAKES, NO GEARS, NO FEAR!!! Two teams of seven riders race against each other over 15 heats, with 2 riders from each team in every heat, racing around a 268 metre oval circuit. Accelerating into the bends at 60mph then flicking out their rear wheel is a sight to be seen!!! The winner earns his team 3 points, second place gets 2 points, and 3rd gets 1 point. It's fast, it's furious, it's family entertainment and it's here at your local track!
As a family we have been to watch the speedway a few times. We have always found the stadium to be great family friendly fun. We can have a bite to eat, something to drink whilst we watch the most exciting sport in Kent. It seems to attract everyone from the very young to the very old, male & female. If you’ve not been before your in for a great treat.

Nestled in the North Kent downs and surrounded by picturesque woodland lies the beating heart of British karting and following the recent redevelopment by the late John Surtees CBE, it is put simply, one of the most stunning motorsport locations in the United Kingdom. Buckmore Park has been making pulses race for over fifty years. Since its launch in 1963, it has become the breeding ground for many young drivers, eager to cut their teeth before moving on to different types of motorsport, this list includes Triple F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button. But aside from being a bona fide, blue-blooded race circuit, Buckmore has something to offer everyone, no experience necessary. Whether it’s for that first taste of motorsport or just another box checked on the bucket list, thousands of adults and children flood to the circuit each year to experience the twist, turns and adrenaline rush of driving on hallowed tarmac.
Our 15 year old son had an amazing morning on his junior karting session. The staff were really helpful and attentive. The set up of score boards etc made it feel like a professional race and the hire of overalls, gloves and helmets was included. Would highly recommend.

Lovely spot to watch cricket. The on site cafe is very good. There are a good selection of beers available too. You can either choose to bring your own chair or sit in the small stands. Excellent away win for Yorkshire too.

Visited St. Mary’s for the first time to watch a premier league game of Southampton last February. Quite satisfied with the design and the view. Comfortable seats, well trained and polite stewards and fast and easy movement of supporters. Lovely atmosphere. Would like to go back again.

The American Express Community Stadium is the brand new home of Brighton and Hove Albion FC. With Tickets available for every home match why not come along and experience the unrivaled atmosphere of watching the Seagulls play in front of a 32,000 capacity crowd. With Stadium tours operating on Monday, Thursdays, and Sundays you can get behind the scenes of this outstanding new stadium and learn the fascinating history behind it's construction. We can also host your birthday party, stag/hen do, team building day, or any other occasion that you wish to make special by spending it at The American Express Community Stadium.
I visited the ground for the recent Brighton v Sheffield Wednesday FA Cup game. Fans can reach the ground via Falmer station, which is beside the venue and the club even offer free local transport for ticket holders. The stadium itself is probably the best medium sized ground I have visited, with padded seats, perfect views and a great atmosphere.
