Living up to its billing as “The Natural State”, the state is a nature wonderland with three national forests, nearly 9,000 miles of pristine streams and rivers, awe-inspiring settings in the Ozark and Quachita mountains and sparkling lakes.
The menu of vacation experiences is an exciting one. For great golf, spas, horse racing and the Hot Springs National Park, Hot Springs is the place to go. Outdoor enthusiasts love the Ozark Mountains where activities like canoeing, rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking and rock climbing are popular. The mountain village of Eureka Springs, with its streets lined with Victorian homes, is brimming with boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. Wine enthusiasts love the Arkansas Wine Country, encompassing the towns of Paris, Ozark and Altus, where German style wines are produced. From its ancient mountains to the Delta flatlands leveled by the Mississippi River, the state has a diverse topography with numerous scenic drives. Try the Pig Trail, Ozark Highlands and Sylamore scenic byways in the Ozark National Forest designated by the U.S. Forest Service. Golfers love the state because greens fees are extremely affordable for great courses. A few excellent public access courses are Sage Meadows in Jonesboro, Stonebridge Meadows in Fayetteville and the Mountain Ranch Course in Fairfield Bay.

The Anthony Chapel Complex is a part of Garvan Woodland Gardens, the 210 acre botanical garden of the University of Arkansas located on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Visitors may park near the lovely glass chapel in the woods and take a short walkway to the Chapel. The Chapel is open during normal business hours, UNLESS it is rented for a private wedding or event. Visitors are not allowed in the Chapel when it is rented for a private event. The Chapel is currently a free area of Garvan Woodland Gardens. Visitors to the Gardens enter at the Welcome Center and pay admission.
Located in the woods by Garvan Woodland Gardens, the Anthony Chapel is an amazing structure of glass and wood. One of several scattered around the country, it's clear glass walls and soaring ceiling make it seem much larger.

1894 City Market is where the locals and professionals take their pictures. Built in 1894 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, one of the truly unique Architectural structures in the Four States area. More pictures are taken here than anywhere else in the area. The contrast of new and old creates time travel pictures of 123 years ago. Second Saturday trade days are held every second Saturday of each month featuring local craftspeople and goods. Building tours are available on second Saturday trade days. The building is currently being renovated for art galleries and retail space on the first floor, with offices and loft apartments on the upper floors. Come tour a building that has seen two turns of the centuries, 1900 and 2000. Oklahoma was a territory and Grover Cleveland was beginning his second term as president.

The William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park, located on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock, Arkansas, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world to its grounds each year. Opened in 2004, the Center is home to the Little Rock offices of the Clinton Foundation, the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum, and the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
The Clinton Presidential Library is a bold, modern building near downtown Little Rock, overlooking the Arkansas River, which does a good job of telling the story of the Clinton administration of 1993-2001, a period of relative peace and prosperity in the United States. Unlike some presidential libraries that feature a replica of the oval office, visitors here can have their photo made (for a fee) sitting behind a replica of the Resolute desk, which President Clinton (and other presidents, such as JFK), have used.

Located in the beautiful War Eagle Valley, the War Eagle Mill offers a historical perspective to life in the Ozarks. Visit the Mill and the historic bridge on the river, learn about the history of the region, shop for organic and locally made foods and local crafts. Top your visit with a meal at the Bean Palace cafe."
I gave this attraction 5 stars, because it is truly a piece of history. The mill is a functioning mill from the 1800s built by original settlers to the area. The workers love their jobs and offer a free tour with lots of wonderful info. On the third floor is a restaurant that has good food, great service, reasonable prices...and in many ways is like a step back in time. The bottom and 2nd floors have gifts as well as the functioning mill wheel on the 1st floor. The location is great for photos. For those on a tight budget, there is no pressure to purchase anything...you can just do a free tour and look around and take pictures!

The downtown Texarkana Post Office sits on the state line of Texarkana and Arkansas. The Post Office is so unique that it has been noted to be the 2nd most photographed Post Office in the United States!
The Texarkana courthouse was built in the middle of the avenue which is the Arkansas-Texas state line. It is unique in that it actively still serves 2 states. It is the most photographed courthouse in the US, second only to the Supreme Court. Many well known figures and entertainers have performed on the line with a foot in each state.

IG: LLTRAVELMEL, The owners were so kind to squeeze us in for 15 minutes even though they had a wedding to prepare for! This is such a gorgeous property, I can totally see why they hold so many small weddings. The gorgeous little church with the backdrop of trees and creek across the way, wow!

This one of FLWright's Usonian houses -- small homes meant for middle-income buyers. It is very utilitarian. The kitchen is a small L-shaped room that would accommodate only one or two people. There is a small bedroom downstairs, off one of the narrowest halls you'll ever see and a bathroom off another narrow hall. The living room is open with lots of windows and interesting features. Unlike many of the Usonian homes, this one has a second floor; however, it is off-limits to visitors. Still the house and audio tour offers a nice insight into the architecture of FLW.
