Our family spent several days in Krakow in the safe and very friendly hands of our most knowledgable and highly skilled driver Alek. He was prompt collecting us from the apartment, and he had a unique knowledge of his city and homeland. Alek added considerable value to the trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau, and was very patient with our granddaughter. On the following day he drove us to the Salt Mines in very difficult weather conditions . On the last day he took me to the shooting range, and afterwards showed me the picturesque lake and facilities of Krakow Bagry. Both his reliability and dependability ensured that our trip to Krakow was a complete success. We would highly recommend the company he works for namely 'Welcome in Krakow'. We hope to return to the city and avail ourselves again of the company's and Alek's expertise. Brilliant!

The salt mine in Wieliczka is famous for being Europe’s oldest salt mine, which has been operating for at least 700 years. Wieliczka’s salt mine is a unique tourist attraction, and is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List (listed among the twelve top sites). Get lost with wonder as you make your way through the labyrinth of tunnels, pits and chambers, all hewn out by hand from solid salt. Beautifully adorned chapels, underground lakes, and other hidden treasures are spread out on the three upper levels of the complex, ranging from 64 to 135 meters below the ground. Tourists can enjoy the three kilometre-long trail and a collection of objects related to the mine itself and mining industry.

We were picked up on time by Wojciech. He was a fantastic guide. From start to finish we were looked after perfectly. It is quite a long drive but absolutely worth it. The scenery is outstanding. We enjoyed seeing traditional wooden houses and 15th century Church of St Michael the Archangel. Rafting in Dunajec was pleasant. The rafts hold 12 people and it was quite busy. I recommend if you visit Krakow allow yourself 6 days as there is so much to see and do.

Great day trip. Our guide / driver was great, went out of his way to show us around whilst we were waiting to collect other guests. He had lots of local knowledge and made us feel at ease. The trip around Auschwitz-Birkenau was good and the guide for this part was knowledgeable too. Would highly recommend.
