Phoned up to ask if my mum’s antique doll could be fixed. The man was very pleasant and said it could. Popped in the following week and he restrung her head and limbs, gave her a clean and she looks as good as new now! Paul is very knowledgeable about his work and is interesting to talk to. The service that we required was completed in just a couple of hours. It is a quaint little shop to visit and there are pieces to buy if you’re a collector. I was very satisfied with the service.

English and French decorative antiques in a large showroom in what was the 18th century Arundel Swallow Brewery. In 2016 Arundel Eccentrics were invited to have their collection on the 4th floor of the Liberty store in London. In November 2018 they won Best Small Business Award from Arun Business Partnership.

Petworth is a centre for antique, design and art shops - a great place to explore and shop after you have visited Petworth House. The best place for parking is in Market Square. The antique shops cover all tastes and all budgets; the market here is at the more popular and affordable end, with a wide variety of stalls to explore. Covid-19 precautions were well-managed with one entrance and a different exit, lots of hand sanitiser and a car park available to pick up your heavier purchase. Well done!
