Nanna Bangles - Vintage Curiosities is a 'must stop' for the lovers of all things retro. We stock NZ made (designer) clothing, books, toys, souvenirs/Kiwiana, and homewares among others... also stocking quirky items of interest made by local craftspeople. We run under an ethos of sustainability, as opposed to mass produced items (why buy new?).

Antiques, Collectables,Giftware, Museum... Located at what was once the railway engine shed, 400m from town An easy 3 minute walk along the Otago Rail Trail, or 1 minute drive from the Main Street of town & SH85 TCS is well signed posted from town... 65 Mitchell Street, Ranfurly 9332
We came across the Curiosity Shoppe just as we were passing through Ranfurly on the Central Otago Rail Trail. If you are into antiques then this relatively hidden spot is worth a look. They have a really eclectic range of ceramics, pottery, cutlery, and glassware etc. We pulled up our bikes just for a look and left with our panniers filled with carefully wrapped Crown Lynn treasures. They also offer shipping which is much more sensible than bumping down the trail with crockery!

Wonderful store to potter around in, have fun discovering old treasures or in my case reminders of childhood. Lovely staff, very helpful.

Three Creek Comprises of four small shops, 1950's Service station,General store, Blacksmiths and antiques together with coffee caravan, all full of giftware and collectables old and new. A recommended must see.
Interesting stop with lots for the Man Cave . Plenty of wooden furniture, signs, and lots of memorabilia. The lady who was in charge was very friendly and approachable. Fun place to visit with plenty to give us oldies a bit of a nostalgia trip. Worth a stop - would imagine kids would be fascinated by some of the old stuff used by their grandparents when they were kids.

Serendipity has a wide range of interesting, curious items and antiques. The range is very good and the pricing is reasonable. You will be able to find something you didn't know you were looking in the collection that is spread across two rooms. I love this shop and always walk away with something every time I pass through Timaru.

Wandering through Hampden Stores is like taking a trip back in time. It's a hands-on shop, with dust and rust, celebrating things that were made to last. We have a huge range of vintage tools and other collectables as well as lots of practical everyday items. There is something for everyone from the serious collector to the inspired recycler.
