Had a fantastic holiday, resort had everything you could want. Gardens and public areas immaculate, room very comfortable modern and clean. Bar and Restaurant staff were excellent, thanks to the central bar team, who were very helpful and always smiling. Animation team worked endless hours, very professional. Even though the hotel is aimed at Italian and French speakers, 95% of the staff were more than happy to speak a little English, only issue was the excursions were only available in French or the Italian and therefore we didn't get to see much of wonderful Sicily on this trip. Special thanks to Antoinella (central bar) Raul and Max (animation and tennis coach) and Julia from reception who took time to explain how everything worked. Two points to consider, restaurant was a bit hectic, would benefit from allocating the same table at all meal times especially with the current Covid situation. Checkin could be better and time taken to explain the resort/map/facilities. Great value for money, would love to return in 2022.

Club Med's legendary Cefalu Resort will re-open in summer 2018, becoming the first 5Ψ Club Med Resort in Europe. Nestled atop rugged cliffs with a breathtaking view over Cefalu Bay, you'll fall for the charm of this fabulous Resort - the combination of Baroque elegance and minimalist mineral design produces a rare combination of elegance, intimacy and authenticity. Cefalu Club Med is Sicilian art
We stayed in this truly exquisite resort earlier this month. We really appreciated the personalised welcome upon arrival with a glass of prosecco and intro to the resort with a tour to our room. The grounds are lovingly manicured and picture perfect. Our villetta was also perfectly maintained and the views from the terrace, beautiful. We sampled all of the restaurants, each of which provided a great standard and variety of food. During the day the riva bar by the sea is a must and at sunset, the Palazzo terrace restaurant is delightful (you need to book for the latter). The staff genuinely seem to love their jobs and are so friendly and helpful. The GO’s put on a great show in the evening, what a talented bunch! We saw a Bridgerton themed performance and a Queen tribute act while there. There is a dress code in the eve that is recommended which we initially wondered how many people would actually adhere to - it turned out to be quite fun with most people joining in, though it’s not overly serious. There is a helpful path just outside the entrance to the resort which leads you straight down some steps and along the beach promenade to Cefalu town (est 20-30 min walk)- definitely worth a trip. Also, if you just need a few essentials, there’s a pretty decent supermarket just over the road from the resort. I read a few reviews highlighting that this is a very French resort, exercise classes in French, language spoken in restaurant etc. Indeed it is - as Brits we were one of very few non French guests, which, given our French is not fluent, did make it a little challenging for us to understand a few things at times. But, that’s our fault for not speaking another language fluently! It did mean we had to brush up a bit on that. Thank you very much to the team at Club Med Cefalu for a lovely holiday.

We arrived today and so far are disappointed with the hotel. One of the biggest issues is that it is impossible to get reservations in the restaurants. We have 7 nights here and have managed to obtain 1 booking, leaving us with 6 nights at the buffet. This js simply not acceptable and leaves us planning to get taxis to go to Cefalu for dinner, less than ideal with a 2 year old. The hotel should NOT advertise 4 restaurants when they are impossible to access. Aside from this the beach is in need of some major TLC, very scruffy and unkept. The rooms are fine and have been modernised but only inside; as soon as you step outside the hotel looks tired. On the positives the food in the buffet is quite reasonable although it’s very busy at dinner time. The staff in general are helpful and friendly. Not a 5* experience by any means.

Saracen Sands Hotel, located in Isola delle Femmine, is about 11 km from the airport of Palermo "Falcone Borsellino" and only 15 minutes from the Palermo city centre. The hotel is located between the stunning Capo Gallo, Punta Raisi, Mondello and Sferracavallo. Saracen provides 238 spacious rooms with great views of the gulf. The beach and 4 swimming pools make Saracen the ideal place to spend an unforgettable summer holiday. Our staff will entertain guest in every moment of the day. Our breakfast buffet offers a wide proposal of local food and the cuisine with the brand new Show cooking Area proposes delicious recipes. Saracen has been structured to be ideal for conventions and thanks to its position - a few km from the Palermo airport-is also a business hotel.
Hotel looks really promising however is really basic and underwhelming. Rooms are bland and soulless and the hotel receptionists are possibly the most unhelpful and rude people I have come across in hospitality. I would recommend a new vocation for them. I would also recommend against staying in this hotel. Pleased we only stayed the night and even that was a night too long.

A recently restored farmhouse which combines healthy rural simplicity with comfortable hospitality, surrounded by delightful countryside and green pastures between Palermo, Agrigento and the unique coastline of Cefalu. The farm is organically run, and also rears sheep and cows. The farm, with a scenic view of the valleys, has 25 rooms with bathrooms, furnished in an Arte Povera style, with air conditioning, heating, safe, minibar, television, hairdryer and telephone and 5 apartments with kitchenettes. Adults and children can relax in the agriturismo's 2 swimming pools, while the riding school offers horseback excursions. The pastoral farm, dairy farm and fruit and vegetable orchards and gardens provide produce for the restaurant's traditional rural dishes, which guests can learn how to recreate in the farm's cookery courses. The farm produces and sells typical regional produce, such as traditional Sicilian cheeses, preserves and organic tomato sauce.A perfect location for those who want to experience a region rich in culture and natural beauty, which spans from the crystal sea of Cefalu to the inland countryside, from the sandy coast of Agrigento to the volcanic summit of Etna, from the Madonie Regional Natural Park to the Monti Sicani nature reserve, and the fascinating Palermo with its history of past civilisations such as the Valley of the Temples. At Villa Dafne, guests can enjoy horse riding, hiking, and a holiday surrounded by nature, wonderful food and wine and the utmost relaxation.
Nice quiet place except weekends its somewhat more lively. Very good food and a lot of it from their own farm - except the breakfast is somewhat dull or just very italian and sweet. The staff in general do not speak english very well - but they do their best and or try to find someone who can. Some covid restrictions,no cooking class or pizza! - should be visible on homepage we might have chosen another place if we had know . Otherwise nice place, roads on inland sicily sucks :) - it takes a while to drive and see places, dont go here if you have no car or are scared of small mountain roads The surroundings are very beautiful if the place should develop itself. Go there if you want nice and quiet natural surroundings and great food. It could be cool if they had better internet - it really was sporadic at best. They should prioritize more things to do locally like cooking class etc - it could be done outside for example, having mountainbikes … Anyways great place recommended

We came during Covid times. The property is great and the view is fantastic but I’m disappointed with the customer service. I bought a package deal online and it said there should be a pool view or bungalow as accommodation. It’s also our ten year anniversary so I before we came a write two emails asking if they can do something special for us and they said they would try. However, when we go here we got a view of the parking lot and nothing special. So to say the least I am disappointed. The restaurant that is included in the package is ok but doesn’t seem very Covid safe bc everyone is next to each other. Even if they wear masks and have plastic shields for the food. The pool and sea is amazing though. And as usual for some reason the pillows in the room suck!

Checked in on the 27 May 2022. It was a very hot day. Air conditioner was not working. When I contacted reception to report they informed me that air conditioning will be switched on June 1st. I then asked for a fan since room was very hot. The receptionist said that they do not have any. We could not even open balcony doors because of traffic noise. Rooms were shabby and bathroom was falling apart with chipped doors and bath.

The proprietors were welcoming and helpful, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious - all home cooked, mainly home-grown ( superb bread made from their own flour), and plentiful. The bathroom was cramped - probably difficult for very large people, hence four rather than five stars.

Easily accessible, close to the Palermo/Messina Catania Highway 20 km approx.. the center of Palermo in the Comune di Altavilla Milicia, small town founded by Normans around 1060 after the Arab domination. Altavilla in reference to the site located on a hill that dominates the step and the sea from Capo Zafferano to Cefalu. The Altavillesi are very devout Madonna Milicia, the miraculous event and the framework that the depicts, with a stunning similarity with that of Loreto, because it is the cornerstone of the popular religiosity. On 8 September feast you participate with pilgrimages and offers from across the province. Featuring an organic winery and a restaurant serving regional cuisine, Agriturismo Sirignano Wine Resort has an outdoor pool, free wi-fi, freeprivate parking and and Segesta is 20 minute drive away. Rustically furnished, rooms – standard and superior - have a private bathroom and they are equipped with air conditioning, fridge and TV. Agriturismo Sirignano Wine Resort offers a guided tour of the winery with wine tasting.
Not fancy, can be quiet (you could be the only guests there), solid food, fabulous pool. Good size rooms with air con / suites / former workers dwellings, good views. Limited communications on arrival ( we should have asked more), huge glasses of wine, in hindsight we should have asked more questions, but it would have been nice to have had a bit more information on the wine they produce, history of the winery etc. Tastings are available. Only us & another couple the first night we stayed (they had been on their own for 3 nights). Breakfast the next morning has been left out & was warm (aircon not on, yogurts not chilled) which was really the only disappointing thing of our stay & as we moved on, a couple of Italian families arrived & the place livened up. Good value.
