An answer to all your desires, for Families or Couples, Summer and Winter ... The Aqua Mirage Club Marrakesh All Inclusive covers 20 hectares of nature with a splendid view on the Atlas Mountains. The hotel has its giant Aqua Park for the little ones as well as for the fun seekers, a wide range of activities, varied dining areas and rooms dedicated to the organization of meetings and seminars.
Hotel is lovely, but the chemist at the top of the road must be doing great business due to the number of people getting sick while staying here. Several of our party suffered vomiting and diarrhoea. The food hygenine is not great. I personally saw guests take pizza and then put it back, children putting their hand into the olive bowl because there was no serving spoons, and one child taking a croissant and then putting it back. There wasn't enough staff in the buffet to stop this happening. I also spoke to several other people who were also sick while we were there. Sickness seemed to be a problem. Apart from going on holiday and becoming sick, which somewhat defeats the purpose of a holiday, the other aspects of the hotel are OK. The grounds are well kept. The water park is good. The lifeguards do their job, I saw them pull 2 kids out of the pools on separate occasions. The rooms are OK. It's just a shame that they haven't quite got the food hygenine up to standard. There was also urine smell on occasion in the main pool. If the good hygenine was better, then I would have given a rating of 4 star.

Unveil the city’s rich history, heritage and culture as celebrated in the enchanting haven of La Maison Arabe.
Lovely stay and highly enjoyable. I spent five nights at La Maison Arabe. Very close to the souks and the main square. The setting with the pool surrounded by the restaurant was idyllic. Food in les Trois Saveurs for dinner excellent in particular the fish tagine which was divine and the chicken with lemon and olives running it a close second. The salads need more variety as it did get a little boring. The service was fantastic and the staff were brilliant throughout the hotel. The rooms were well looked after just a little tired and in need of a refresh and I utterly loved the country club. I am a keen cook so admittedly I did think the cookery school a little pedestrian although I felt the staff were warm and friendly there. Spa treatments excellent

Oasis perfectly describes this hotel. The surrounding area is dry and dusty, but the moment you walk through the huge doors you are greeted by a calm, tropical oasis. Our room was just right for a family of 4 (room 2621). The pool and the amount of activities on offer from tennis, archery, pickle ball, aqua aerobics - there is enough to keep everyone or all ages entertained. The gym is state of the art, free weights, running machines and even a TRX room and yoga classes. The food was amazing, the salads to die for, it was very easy to eat really healthily on this holiday. The highlight for us though was the staff, whether it was the bar staff with their friendly greetings, the waiters and waitresses with their attention to detail, they kept topping up our wine, or the outstanding entertaining staff who managed to remember your name, include you in lots of activities, but still allow you to enjoy relaxing around the pool. A special shout out goes to Sam, Russ, Sousou, Niako (Archery expert, I dare you to beat him!) and recently arrived Abdel. The waiters Abdul, Hishel, Jalal and Rudaoun were exceptional. My only criticism would be the website does not adequately reflect the amazingness of the hotel!

My friends and I visited at the end of may for 5 nights and loved it here! The hotel was lovely, clean and staff all super friendly. We had adjoining rooms which was fun too. The food was also really nice, a really big range of options and the chefs were incredibly helpful as one of us was a coeliac (gluten free). Special thanks to Chef Ameen (Amee? Amin? So sorry I can’t remember how he spelt it…) as he personally showed her round every meal for what was safe for her to eat, and had gluten free bread made and dessert brought out to her! Thank you so much to all!!

A pioneer in its category. This hotel-club provides a full range of activities together with the best contemporary design by architect Imaad Rahmouni. Modernism and discovery can be shared by families or friends, in one of the best leisure hotels in Morocco, located by the Atlas Mountains, in the middle of 10 hectares centenarian olive trees. Accommodation 9 riads 254 double or triple rooms (32 m²) and 60 suites (53 m²) – all with private balcony.
Good points: - Very clean rooms and communal areas - Swimming pool is amazing - Swimming slides are incredible, kids absolutely loved them. - Good selection of activities such as aqua-aerobics, zumba, water polo etc Bad points: - Usually in a 5 star hotel, the staff will go above and beyond. Here, they did not, there were a handful of lovely staff including waiters and the animation team but opart from this, anything we asked seemed too much trouble, especially at the bar. - Great hotel if you are french - they speak very limited english and everything is in french. - AC in the rooms not great, we were quite hot most nights. - Beds are awfully uncomfortable - so hard! - Cocktails very limited and alcohol definitely watered down. - No allergens highlighted so basically no gluten free choices and nothing labelled, if it was it was in french only so was unable to understand what meats we were eating. - Food quality as expected for an all inclusive but was disappointed with all the cold food as there were flies landing on it all constantly so didn't want to risk eating it. - Had to queue for food and drinks most of the time and guests have no concept of queuing which was rather frustrating. - Dinner starts late - 7pm which is late if you have young children that need feeding. Kids disco doesnt start til 8:30pm.

La Mamounia, a symbol of traditional Moroccan hospitality, is located in the heart of the imperial city, nestled in a 17 acre park, 5 minutes walk from the Jemaa El Fna square, La Mamounia will remain the place for worldwide celebrities. DESCRIPTION The Moroccan legendary palace has been redesigned by an internationally acclaimed designer, Jacques Garcia, combining a true Moroccan style and ambiance with new technologies. With its luxurious decorations, fabulous gardens and its trendy 2500sq m SPA, la Mamounia guarantees the amazement of its guests. ACCOMODATION 136 rooms (30 to 45 Sq m) 71 Suites including 7 Signature suites (55 to 212 Sq m) 3 Riads each with 3 bedrooms, Moroccan salons, private swimming pool, terraces... (700 Sq m)
We had very high expectations prior to this trip, and I am so pleased that La Mamounia rose to every challenge we gave them! The pre-arrival information, from the concierge, the reservations team and the spa, was very helpful. The fast track through the airport was great as was the hotel transfer service. On arrival in the hotel, you cannot but be impressed. Inside, it is very dark and cool, and outside it’s a lush, tropical garden with fountains, patios, and the most amazing pool where the Murano glass floor makes it like looking into a pool of diamonds. Make sure you make time to walk around the amazing walled garden, you will see the turtles and the kitchen garden and some amazing cacti. I have to single out two front of house staff who went above and beyond to make our stay the experience we had hoped for (this was our 3rd attempt to celebrate a special birthday – first 2 thwarted by covid). On arrival we were met by Laila, our room wasn’t ready (ok, we know check in is at 3pm but it’s always a lovely touch when they know you are arriving earlier to go straight to the room) but Laila went to see how quickly it could be made ready, and promised to call me as soon as it was. True to word, less than an hour later and she found us on the patio and took us to the room. We had booked a deluxe Koutoubia room, just a word about room choice – had I studied the map a little more carefully, I would have noticed the main road that separates the hotel from the Koutoubia Mosque. So, if you are after the hustle and bustle of the city with views of the mosque, this is a good choice for you. We wanted peace and quiet, so asked to move. We met with the front of house manager, Kenza and I can only say what a truly lovely person she is, empathetic and professional. She really did go the extra mile and managed not only to move us the next day but to upgrade us to a suite near the pool. Thank you Kenza, we really appreciated that. Recommendations for dinner every evening from the concierge were great, we went to La Palace, (our favourite) Comptoir Darna, (great fun) La Sultana, (very close second favourite) and El Fenn (not great food but good roof top location). Also very helpful was to hear that taxi rides in the city by day are 50 dirhams and at night 90 dirhams so we went round with a wadge of 100 dirhams notes, (about £8) waved one of these to the taxi driver and never had a problem, they were all lovely, one gave us his card where it might have been difficult to find a taxi to pick up and the restaurant called him and he was there in minutes. We walked to La Palace and again, the walk was not difficult, lots of very helpful police on bikes everywhere. We also ate in the Italian in the hotel, that wasn’t great to be honest, we had the steak to share and it was very fatty and full of gristle – we left most of it, the waiters looked at it and shrugged… suffice to say you do better to eat at the local recommended restaurants. Marrakesh is an amazing place, we have already booked our return flights. La Mamounia was a “once in a lifetime” trip but, once you have stayed there, it would be very difficult to stay anywhere else! So, La Mamounia, thank you for an amazing stay, and for sure, next May, we are coming back! Dr Catherine Walker.

I am currently on my last night here (sadly going home tomorrow) travelling alone with 2 children i was a bit wary but we have had the most amazing time, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, rooms are lovely I don't know what the others are talking about some people will find anything to pick at I guess. My kids loved the aqua park although they were too small to go on the bigger slides. The staff in the dining area were amazing and couldn't do enough for me and the kids! Especially Simon' who didn't let us carry a plate and made sure we have everything we needed everyday. The staff take plenty of care to make sure drinks when dining are refilled rapidly. No empty drink cups left lying around by the pool, the staff were straight onto that. Entertainment was great my kids loved it!! No idea what the comments are about rude staff I encountered not one rude staff from the cleaners, to the pool security everyone always has a smile and a welcome. Security on the hotel door is a good thing and should make you feel more secure that you are being welcomed and kept safe in your hotel and not just letting anyone in. Thankyou eden andalous we can't wait to come again soon!!!
