Guests are invited to choose from 398 stylish rooms, each with modern facilities like A/C and free Wi-Fi as well as a private balcony with views of either the Sea of Galilee or the surrounding cityscape. Tiberias is known worldwide for the many sacred sites nearby, like Tabgha, the Mount of Beatitudes, and the Gospel & Jesus Trails. But that's only the start of the city's attractions. The highlight of the hotel itself is its huge water park, including three breathtaking slides and a semi-Olympic pool, as well as the delicious meals and refreshments throughout the day. Other amenities include a spa, gym, activity clubs for kids and teens, and a Welcome Baby service for parents with small children.
Despite having to wait two hours for our room to under go an inspection, it was still filthy and bed covers had balls of dust on them. Bathroom floor was filthy and the drains were clogged. At the salad through, I got pushed away by two aggressive women who would never consider waiting or queuing up politely. They offer free beer and wine but the wine is hideous and the Gold star beer tasted watered down compared to the bottle version. A two star hotel at a 5 star price in desperate need of major renovation.

The greatest feature of this hotel is proximity to fabulous Dead Sea beach and as an extra bonus big pool so you may jump to the pool right after soaking in the salt water. Food is pretty typical for Israeli standards which means amazing in world standards. We got a spacious corner room with a big balcony. The service was not perfect but still not disappointing. Overall great experience

Spent few days with my wife & kids in this Guesthouse. The management decided to allow ~200 kids (age 10-15 years old) from a soccer league to stay in the guesthouse without their parents. You can imagine what happened to the so called hotel: Noisy, cursing in-front of all guests, sleepless nights, a mess in the dining room, a fiasco in the pool, police involvment, etc. My kids were afraid to get out of our room. As mentioned, this was a bad management decision (and they admit it was) to turn this hotel to a guesthouse. As for the room cleanness : At the 2nd day, the room was "cleaned" but they forgot to put towels, soap and shampoo. Only after calling housekeeping twice (I assume 5 hours are not enough to bring towels) - they arrived. At the 3rd day - they even did not clean our room. When I complained about it - I was told that my room was already cleaned . I invited them to the room to see that it was not cleaned. Unbelievable. Zero awareness to customer satisfaction. Food: Breakfast is fine, lunch and dinner are reasonable (but repeating). So - do yourself a favor: do not spent your money on this guesthouse. there are plenty of great hotels in Eilat with the same price of this guesthouse. To summarize: when I complained about the fiasco with the soccer league kids, the hotel response that i suffered only one day, so they will send me a discount of 30% to the first night of my next vacation. Like i will ever use it... there is always a last time !!!

We were two couples going to celebrate the birthday of one of our party and it was our first trip away from home since COVID- so we were really looking forward to this. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT this proved to be. What the hotel has going for it is the desert, the view over the Dead Sea and some of the grounds which have beautiful plants, trees, ibex roaming around and lots of gorgeous birds. Lucky for us they are not responsible for nature. what they are responsible for is the hotel - and here's where they really fall short. We had booked for Thursday through Sunday. We had booked two so-called garden rooms described as "superior" - which were anything but. The so-called garden you see in the photographs on their website proved to be a tiny table with two chairs right in front of the glass sliding doors, and overlooking the next set of rooms. No garden. And also no view to speak of, which was why we had paid extra for these so-called "superior"rooms, hoping for a view of the mountains and the sea; instead we were facing the next row of rooms in the next nondescript row of buildings. When we immediately called the desk to ask for a possible change, we were told that everything was booked - but that "of course" if they could do anything to change this, they would. They didn't and from observation over the next 2 days it was pretty clear that those rooms were empty and they could easily have moved us there right away. So much for believing the manager and her claim to be interested in helping us. The rooms themselves are small, and very basic, barely a cut above what you'd get in a field school, but for LOTS more money. They don't even provide tissues! When our friends in the next room turned on their fan, we heard loud throbbing noises in our room - terrible construction. We called the front desk for help with a technical problem with our air-conditioner, and nobody ever showed up to handle it, even though they promised to send someone. Our rooms were not cleaned on Friday until about 4 pm , even though we had put out the notice that we wanted them cleaned already in the morning. The spa is decent, though noisy, and nobody asked the groups of people who congregated at full volume to keep their voices down out of consideration for the other guests. The food in the main dining room was good, though the ambience leaves a lot to be desired. Think of a summer camp dining room with all the banging and clatter and you'll get the picture. Nothing quiet or peaceful. If you opt to sit outside (weather permitting) you'll have a nicer experience because you get to see the mountains and the Dead Sea, but you're still crammed next to other tables of people. The dinner we were served on Saturday evening at the tiny bar was abysmal. We ate in the small bar off the lobby - (the dining room was closed because there were not enough people to warrant opening it; most people left after sundown, after shabbat) We were served salad, obviously leftovers from the morning breakfast service, burned bread, and our choice of entrees was very basic, and the food was very basic. And finally, although we had been told that we were entitled to dessert, when the time came, they told us were only entitled to TWO desserts for the four of us. There was no one to complain to, the wait staff was unhelpful and unmotivated. "Not my problem" was the attitude he conveyed. When we went to check out, I asked to speak to a manager only to be told they were all in a meeting but I could write all my complaints out and leave them for them. I opted to write out my complaint here. This is a crying shame. The location is gorgeous but the place is not. We felt like we were being held hostage by this hotel that can get away with overcharging and underserving because there isn't enough decent competition in the market place.

The price is very high, and what u get is not worth the price. The waterpark is little small. Private pol rooms water r very cold. Parking is ok but no roof, your car temperature may reach 70c out there. The food is not good, but u will be able to eat it it is ok. Indoor pool water is warm. They also have kids club, final score is 3 stars. Does not deserve that prices….

Pros:The hotel is nice even though it feels outdated, the food is great, the rooms are nice. Cons: people are smoking around the pool and around the kids pool, i even met a guy smoking an e sigareth in a theater - all are agians the law but no one cares. The pool area is dirty and animal are eating the leftovers during the entire day. No one care or even trying to handle the smoker even around the kids. I total, we had a great family time, but i don't think we'll come back to this hotel again.

The Kibbutz Hafetz Hayim Hotel is not really a hotel but rather a collection of rooms spread out over the grounds of the kibbutz. The rooms are spartan, yet there are numerous size rooms - for couples up to families or 8. The dining room is the old kibbutz dining room and is a 2-4 minute walk from the rooms (all outdoors). The food was fine and plentiful and the service was excellent. The place suffered from an abundance of mosquitos. The lobby by the dining room has couches that are stained and have seen far better days. The rooms have broken mosquito netting, broken shower doors, ants and air-conditioners that shut off every 15 minutes. This is all due to the place not having been maintained for the past year - similar to other Israeli hotels and venues. See the attached picture of the threadbare towel we had. The entire ambiance is suitable for large families who wish to spend a weekend together in a hotel. They have separate rooms for large groups to hold their meals, and the rooms have hot water urns as well as pre-cut toilet paper. If you have many small kids and want a suitable environment for a weekend then this is the place for you. For anyone else, best to find a more suitable hotel to visit for the weekend.

This is an all inclusive hotel. When we arrived on Thursday we ate lunch. Now (Saturday), we came to eat lunch before checking out, and we got refused to eat (and in a very not nice way), because we ate on Thursday noon. Shameful and disgrace to pay so much money and get refuse to get food in an all inclusive hotel.
