The lush jungles of Thailand promise adventure, while the serene beaches are the perfect place to splash in the sun. The Similan Islands feature some of the best dive sites in the world, where barracuda dart amid coral reefs and rock formations. Party in the nightclubs of Patong or linger over mango sticky rice at the famous Bangkok family restaurant Kao Neoo Korpanich. The city of Chiang Mai is an absolute must-visit; a mosaic of ancient temples, massage parlors, music venues, and markets.

I recently checked into Nature Beach and had the pleasure of dealing with Pink at the reception desk. She was excellent and helped me get my oversized ? to the room. She was also very helpful and pleasant during checkout.

Located on Chiang Mai’s famed Hangdong-Samerng road, Flora Creek is a five-star-serviced hotel on a 21-rai plot with stunning view of national park and mountain creek, only 21 km from Chiang Mai International Airport and only 30 minutes away from central Chiang Mai.This 70 -rooms offer four options for its guests which are, 140 sq.m. And the even highlight of the Flora Creek is Krisdadoi Garden, the 15rai garden designed by Sakul Intakul, a premier floral artists occasionally commissioned by Her Majesty the Queen.
Never expected a place like this in the mountains near Chiang Mai. Once we checked in and were carted to put suite, it was like being in another world. The landscaping was amazing and it was soo tranquil. It’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city without having to drive out really far. The suite that we stayed in was massive and the wifi was really good as well. We had stayed one night and had breakfast the next day. Breakfast was ok, your basic selections of fried eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausages, omelette station, Khao Soi station, selection of fruits and cereals, toast, boiled rice.. etc Overall, I would rate this a great place to stay and I would definitely return.

A super find. A modern and chic hotel of 8, well thought out rooms, within a gallery and cafe. Nestled a short walk from the main historical temples. Though, the locals might think you mad if you do indeed walk!

Leave the main road behind you and take the walk up to Oasis. Our bungalows are spread out in a beautiful garden, bordering the jungle of the National Park and a group of macaque monkeys are among our regular visitors. The hillside restaurant has sea view. Don't want to miss out on the fun of Lonely Beach? Just a three minute walk downhill and you are in the middle of the village!
Great atmosphere and staff. Highly recommend the restaurant, both for dinner and breakfast. Located on a hill, but that doesn't matter unless you have no fitness at all. They have a nice pool with sunbeds. Walk to the sandy part of Lonely beach is 15 minutes. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow, the air conditioning was efficient and silent. The bathroom walls and roof are not "airtight", so some flies, ants etc will pay a visit, and will find their way to the main room as well. This didn't bother us, but it's good to note if you're looking for a hotel-like accommodation. Bowie the cat was great company, sorely missed! While we loved the place, with the bungalow tidyness level and the lack of complimentary breakfast we did find the price to be quite high compared to our accommodations in other parts of Koh Chang and other nearby islands.

We stayed in places 4 times as expensive as Baan Maka around Kaeng Krachan and none of them half as good. The staff really understand what you came here to see. Nature and animals. They cater to that. The food is good and simple Thai food. The rooms are clean and sensible with AC and good bathrooms. Everything you need, comfy beds, clean sheets, and lots of outlets. But the location is the best. Total wild forest and only 15 minutes drive from the national park. Unlike every other hotel we stayed at around here, this one is DEAD QUIET at night. No roosters, no barking dogs, no thumping Thai techno music. Total peace. They have all kinds of nature spotting tours available and arrange everything for you. They speak English, and have an amazing comprehensive guide book written by them to explain all the nature spotting options. There are night walks and kayaking on site. We woke up at 5:30am for a private trip the very top top of a peak in Kaeng Krachan national park. It is unbelievable. Our guide found dozens of gibbons, langurs, hornbills and even a sun bear! IN THE WILD. Tips for the trip: If you also take it, wear long pants and take a hoodie. It is FREEZING. Also, bugs. Take sandwiches. Limited food up top and by the time you get there, you have been up for hours and will be starving. Take water too. Take a hat. Take a long lens for your camera. Don't miss out on all the animal ops. Don't hesitate to book this place if you want nature at its best.

Whatever else we asked for was promptly provided and we were given recommendations as well. Overall a great place to stay and chill.
