Came here for a spot of lunch before heading on the scooter to the Karen Long Neck Village. Staff were pleasant and my order got taken quickly.I ordered a Pad Thai with Chicken, Spring Rolls and a Mango Smoothie. The Pad Thai arrived very quickly but by the time I had finished it, the Spring Rolls and the Mango Smoothie had not arrived. However, the Spring Rolls did arrive about two minutes after Iâd finished the Pad Thai. By the time Iâd got half way through the Spring Rolls, I noticed the same waitress delivering smoothies to a table that had arrived about fifteen minutes after me.I asked âcan I get the Mango Smoothie please?â To which the waitress apologised, did the Wai and bought it straight over after making it. No problem, mistakes happen!I would have liked both dishes together and I do know in Thailand they usually bring dishes out as and when, not like Western Restaurants which everything arrives at the same time, but Iâve never had to wait half an hour for Spring Rolls to come out. For this reason I have given four stars instead of five. I hate leaving anything less than five stars, but sometimes I feel I have to.Absolutely no problem with the food, in fact it was delicious. But the service, in a restaurant with only two covers, let it down.Dear Guest,Thank you very much for your review, we really appreciate it. We will continue trying our best to make our guests satisfied with our food, drinks, and services in every aspect as we possibly can.Your review and other reviews from all guests are very important part to keep us going and thrive for perfection.See you again soon :) Kob Khun Mark KrabAgain, Thank you so much for your review

Went here for dinner whilst visiting the town. Really wish we had not, the food was cruelly overpriced , you are paying for the lovely decor and for having one waiter to each occupied table. Much better options elsewhere.

Our restaurant serves salty and sweet french crepes. We also have breakfast and Thai foods. We are located in the town, 5 minutes walk from the bus station and the golden clock tower. The restaurant is small, quiet and located behind Wat Jedyod, a Bouddhi
This is a place that definately worth visiting. The crêpes are delicious (but there are plenty of other options, too) and the owner is a very kind and service minded lady. We ordered one more crêpe just because they are so good. Beers are also really fair priced.

we are a cat cafe. you can chilling while you eating and drinking. we serve thai dish, pasta, dessert, cake and coffee. Our recipe are good quality and clean.
This cafe has friendly staff who are very clear on the rules and tries to keep the area as safe and clean as possible. Unfortunately, for us, it felt wrong. These cats were not enjoying the company they had, multiple people were «over»-cuddling them and were, more or less, forcing the cats to join photos, cuddle up and be cute. Kids were running around, «influencers» were all over with their cameras and we could clearly see the cats were doing their very best to avoid getting in contact with anyone. The room was quite small for 20+ cats and 10+ people. It didnt make it any better seeing the cats longing to get out in the sun. Must honestly say it was a sad experience. When that is said, we must point out the food and drinks were good. Especially the blue cake.

You can walk here from the museum a minute or so down a small road. Huge menu and you can customise spice level, type of noodles, sugar in drinks etc. The woman taking our order spoke excellent english and was really helpful. The pad krapow (chicken with chilli and basil) was the best I've had here and they did make it spicy on my request - they doubled checked first which was thoughtful. My wife had a lovely suki soup and we shared some fish cakes. All very good.I definitely recommend this place. They have good green credentials and obviously care about food and their customers. If it gets busy wait times might go up but it's worth it.

Worthy considering the breadth of the dining experience; third visit ;Quite small, seating for 16;Surprising number of cocktails and high end liquors on the menu;Menu leads with American breakfast, has chicken and massaman curries; The two dishes we had this time didn't match up to the 4different excellent ones we had in the past; But the homeyness is striking here, small dog, residential neighborhood, 3 cats, two older folks, engaging, running the placeRecommend the pad Thai, the massaman; no fish on the menu; aside from the American breakfast, the photo of which looked substantial, the menu is Thai; will be back; The free watermelon and peanuts are a nice touch

Our food is combination between Northern cuisine and Thai food. We have some selections for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan available.
I found this place easily enough although it was tucked away down an alley by the city's hospital. I ordered a simple plate of vegetables and a portion of sticky rice. As I was still hungry, I tried to order more. I was told that a papaya salad would take 25 minutes. Not wanting to wait, I then asked if I could see the menu again but was told that the food was running out and had to be kept for the other tables. I then tried to order a portion of rice and was told that I couldn't have one. I found it hard to believe that the place had run out of food especially when further dishes were being brought out to other diners. I left feeling very let down, not to mention hungry, with the distinct impression that I had been marked out as a "low spender" and persecuted as I prefer to order my meal in stages.Zero for customer service although the one dish of vegetables I managed to persuade them to serve me tasted fine.Dear Customers We are apologized to make you feel not to be serviced well for our language skills. We will improve staff experience of service. On the the day of your arrival we decided to close before our normal trading hour because all our food was sold out , we decided to close at 7:30PM. As we considered that our main ingredients were running low and some food was already sold out from Menu. At that time, it was raining so no outdoor table available. Moreover, our tables were full and majority of tables were still waiting for their food and still 3 groups of customers were waiting for table. You were in group. Staffs advised customers before seating as food might be delayed at least 20 minutes from normal service and some food might be sold out by the ordering time. All of Our food are freshly made according to time of order and cooking time of each dish. You are the first person whom got table from waiting list and ordered our famous morning glory dish and sticky rice. You received your dish in about 20 minutes after your seating and your first ordered from our cc camera whereas surrounding tables just received their main. Second order after finishing your meal, staff advise for waiting time about 20 minutes but you refused to wait. We professionally service on the same standard to every customers no matter they spend Nothing. We equally service with same standard. Our purpose is to provide good quality Northern style Thai cuisine food and service to all customers. Hopefully we will have a opportunity to complementary in-house for you next time. Thank you Best regards Barrab crews

Sit down and enjoy great coffee, English breakfast with snacks and meals throughout the day. Alcoholic beverages available until 10pm daily. Free wifi and a small library of books for your perusal. English and Thai speaking hospitable staff. A great venue
Stopped by the Oak and Awe for a coffee and Thai appraiser. Nice to see mostly Thai dishes with a few western items. It is a small, authentic coffee shop just south of the Clock Tower (common reference point). Seems to be a local meeting place for some expats, so the conversations were interesting.

Another very enjoyable visit to this local foodie institution. We had a mix of regular dishes we already have and some, which we have never tried before. Food was pretty damn good as expected. All time favorite, banoffie never fail to satisfy. Yet, over the years we have been visiting, there is absolutely no changes introduced in the menu, which for regular visitors is a little let down. Hi Mr Nobody!Thank you for coming back so many times and writing many nice reviewsWe do have many changes in the food menu, particularly for the Asian food but you are right we need more weekly specials. Will fix it! Promise
