We picked Benny's from the Tripadvisor reviews. It was a birthday for one of the group so we fixed some transport from our hotel in Laguna and headed out. We wondered a bit where we were as we negotiated the narrow streets but Benny's stands out in the street. We were greeted, birthday wishes given and we dived into the menu. I think between us we ordered a good portion of the dishes on offer and every one was superb. The resident meat eaters loved the steak, I had ribs which was such a generous portion I couldn't finish it .. this was not a problem as the spares were very quickly picked off. All the food was superb, all the drinks were perfect mixes. This was definitely the highlight of our trip, we left Phuket today leaving the rest of the party there for 4 more days; when asked what they'd be doing they all said "well we're definitely going back to Benny's".

This time I came alone arrived early about 6.30 and the place was almost empty. Very fresh bread was served together with a small appertizer on the house. I did order a 200 gr Filet medium rare and it came cooked perfect with a baked potatoe. Service is as always very good here. I had a bottle of Mouton Cadet which I did not finish brought the rest to my room. After I had a espresso and a Cognac which was both on the house, very nice indeed. I also had 2 pc of chocolate after dinner. Its really nice to see a oldfashioned steakhouse like this one its not many left! I really did enjoy myself! Really superb bar/restaurant that whisks you away from the beach club theme that is prevalent in this part of Phuket.They have got the ambiance just right, with a mellow blues vibe accompanying the black & white photo artwork, setting the scene for luscious cocktails.The menu is great and caters to pretty much all tastes. I went straight for the crab cakes & the steak, and it might just be up there as my âDeath Row Mealâ. Given what other members of our party had, I think youâd find it hard to be dissappointed (special mentions for the lamb & the burger)Price wise it matches that of a western city, but given the quality of service / atmosphere / food, its not silly. Would highly recommend.

Had a truly exceptional meal here while visiting Phuket. The restaurant has a very fun vibe and outstanding beef. We still have a few days here and definitely will be going back for another meal.We ended up having drinks and burgers - fabulous as expected. Chicken satay are very good but for me are not the best shot ribsI like it much more in the central patong food courtDear Junioborghese, I would like to inform you that Naughty Nuriâs in The Forest Phuket does not serve chicken satay. And our signature menu, âProbably the best ribs in the Worldâ is Naughty Nuriâs 1995 Barbeque spare ribs, not short ribs as you mentioned. From initial contact (with Lemon) the whole experience was brilliant. We had originally wanted to do 8pm but Lemon suggested that we would miss the sunset and 6pm would be better. How right she was. We decided to hire a skipper (Lim) for the trip - wise move. Not only did Lim navigate to the perfect spot to view the sunset but he also expertly cooked our BBQ meal. We chose one Thai and one classic - you have one choice per person. Lim navigated us back in the dark - something weâd probably not have been capable of given the wine consumption and no sat nav - I canât find my way round our local city without it... There is Bluetooth speaker to use your phone and play your favourite music as you go. All in all thoroughly recommend as a âdifferentâ fun experience that made for a most memorable birthday treat.
