The food here is delicious! They bring out an amazing appetizer with delicious charro beans, delicious treat a so, and the fixings! The fajita plate was amazing and enough for four people! No one speaks English, but that is okay because good food needs no translation! I plan to be there the next time I am in that area!

Cafe Rio is my favorite fast casual Mexican food. Was excited to see it on a road trip in Pocatello. Overall the store was not clean. The garbages were dirty, the pop machine had piles of ice on them and the counters needed to be cleaned. The suppose to be made fresh tortillas were actually made in batches and sitting in plastic bags but it was so warm the bags were sweating back into the tortillashopefully this was just a bad day and not how the store is always run.

It was close to our hotel, a plus in terms of avoiding much night driving on arrival and feeling tired. We chose lighter fare: chicken margarita and grilled chicken salad, neither of which had much flavor. The salsa was rather watery and the tortilla chips were not particularly fresh. The next two nights we had better meals at Casa de Adobe.

I live an hour away in McAllen, which has hundreds of Mexican restaurants but this one is my favorite! The atmosphere is clean and comfortable and the staff has always been attentive and friendly on my many visits. One of many restaurants in Texas which claims to have invented puffy tacos but to tell you the truth it doesn't even matter. The puffy tacos as well as everything else here is very good. This is not your fancy, upscale restaurant but it is surely a place you will appreciate if you like a casual atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food at a very reasonable price!

We usually don’t eat twice at the same restaurant, but this was an exception. The menu was somewhat limited for Mexican dishes. My wife had the rainbow trout special and fish soup and seasonal vegetables. I had chopped steak with sautéed mushrooms and onion gravy—very flavorful! I chose chili and the vegetables as the two sides and was happy with my choice. For our second dinner there, we had grilled scallops, rainbow trout and, again, pineapple seasoned rolls and cornbread. We finished off the meal with apple pie a la mode. Everything was delicious and service was good. Interesting art work adorned the walls
