We tried Muchos while we were in Lockhart this morning, hungry for breakfast. We were delighted with this choice. An unassuming local restaurant two blocks off of the main square, Muchos serves hand-made tortillas and some of the best salsas we've tasted. The migas and huevos rancheros (served with bacon, fried potatoes, and refried beans) were spicy and delicious! We would highly recommend them. We look forward to trying them out for dinner.

The place was exceptionally clean! The service was excellent and the food although Taco Bell was fresh. We enjoyed our visit very much.

We have eaten breakfast at Rositas several times (and have tried most other restaurants in Lockhart) and think that there is no doubt that Rositas is best! Their menu is extensive (we prefer their Migas and Huevos Rancheros, although many other choices are also tasty and well-prepared). Their service is friendly and efficient. Their prices are moderate. Despite being fairly new, this restaurant is now a local favorite. So, depending on when you arrive, there could be a crowd.

Had the Durango (stuffed poblano with cheese & cheese enchiladas). Spouse had enchiladas verdulero (veggie & cheese). On the plus side, quality cheese, rice had veggies. Margaritas only so so. Chips too thick, salsa -- ?. All in all, probably won't he back. But, if you want a little above average Mexican food in Lockhart, this is it!

I love tacos of papas con chorizo but one day i brought a taco from here and it had hairs on it, i called them back and they said the only thing they can do is give me another taco.... also the thru the restaurant you can see that is not well clean. Never coming back to this place.
