This is my first time trying Taco Bell in Gainesville, I was surprised by the amount of people eating there. The service was very slow, it took them over 30 mins to get my food. It's fast food after all, not sure why it would take them so long. Besides that, the food was not bad. Maybe I was too hungry, lol. If you enjoy fast food on the road, this is the place for you. Nothing fancy . It's just Taco Bell.
The food is awesome! Very authentic Mexican food! Their hot sauce is good and for those that like a spicer hot sauce they do make a hotter sauce. Prices are not bad either! If ordering mixed drinks get the large! The small is really small! There margaritas are really good! We have already been back 2 more times! If you go on the weekend you might have to wait a little while but not to long! Make sure to go inside to put your name on the list. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
This restaurant is by far my favorite restaurant in Gainesville! Their service is excellent, the location is very clean, and most importantly, the food is outstanding! I have tried many of their dishes and have never been disappointed. They use very fresh ingredients - the pico is spot-on. Their salsa is amazingâ I could literally drink it! Their red enchilada sauce is unusual, with the perfect blend of spices. I enjoy eating their cheese enchiladas, pork tamales, brisket tacos, and homemade flour tortillas. The iced tea is perfect - I like the half sweet, half in sweet blend. Their salads are also good, if you are trying to eat healthy :-). It's all delicious and fresh! They also sell their items as family servings, and this is a great option for takeout! My family has started a tradition on Christmas Eve that we eat their tamales and enchiladas, and have a big Mexican feast! It is something we look forward to.I also want to add that this is a mom and pop place, with the husband cooking, the wife managing the restaurant, and the daughters as waitstaff. They are always laughing and joking together, and seem to be a sweet, close family. It is a joy to see that today, and I love to give them my support. Even better, I love eating their food!

Excellent chips and salsa! Homemade tortillas--corn and flour. Everything has been good--I have not ordered a bad item yet. They have a variety of mexican dishes

Stopped in after work to try some of their fajitas served in a hot griddle with peppers and onions. All the fresh made sides like Pico de galo, salsa, grated cheese and sour cream. I ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer which was a perfect preparation for the fajitas. Hi William, thank you for sharing. We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. We hope to see you again soon!

We went here on Sunday for lunch. The neighborhood is rough but there were a lot of cars. The inside was very nice and packed. We had the Vegetable Kabobs. They took a little long to prepare but the staff kept us informed and the food was really good. Looking at what others were eating it all looked good and fresh.

Authentic food, great customer service, and a really homey environment! I was surprised with how clean the restaurant is, plus the food was even better! The taco salad was awesome and the dipping sauce was also great. This place is growing in popularity and it's definitely a hidden gem!

Stopped in for lunch with 5 people. Salsa and chips were a little below average, very bland and tomatoe'y. Ordered the chipotle chicken which came with tortillas. This was very good and tasty. Came with rice and beans. Overall OK, but could be better. I was told there is another El Tapatio and it is better.
