Small menu. Neat concept. Burgers were decent but definitely a bit dry and over cooked. Good fries. 4 kids playing pool. Repeatedly hit patrons with cues. Repeatedly knocked Pool balls into people. Parents and staff could not have cared less. Ruined the night. Went in for an hour. Banana pudding pretty good.

Restaurant was not busy when arrived shouldâve been a clue. Floors were not swept paper and food on floor. Staff accommodating. I ordered salmon over rice broccoli and salad. No lite dressing? Salmon arrived hot good,on rice cold and salty, broccoli hard and tasteless. Would not recommend this place too many other choices in vicinity.

The Public House is a very nice, beautifully decorated fine dining offering. This restaurant decor and service make this an enjoyable experience. To begin with, our waiter was professional, helpful, friendly and an obvious committed "foody". His explanation and conservation was very enjoyable and enlightening. He was very interested in our opinions and impression and obviously committed to improvement. I started with the prime rib/mushroom soup. And it was.....spectacular and almost worth the visit on its own. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits offering. She like the grits but complained that the shrimp didn't smell or taste fresh. Yes, we realize we are hundreds of miles from the coast. It is obvious the shrimp took a bit too long to get to Amarillo but encouraged that it was never frozen. I ordered the stuffed chicken. It was more of stuffed bacon with sides of potatoes and broccoli. The entree was okay but the potatoes were flavorless and mushy. If you are coming with a large appetite, don't forget the soup and don't worry about the outside temperature.

Stopped on our way through town and enjoyed the food. Great service. We have not eaten at an Outback in a while so the one thing I miss was the spices on the steak we have had in the past. Still a good steak.

We went for dinner around 6 PM on a Sunday. We chose this restaurant because we could walk from our hotel. There was a 20 minute wait for a table. The place is quite popular and noisy. The food was okay but nothing special. I really don't understand why the restaurant was packed. Service was okay. It took an unusually long time for our food to be served. Prices are reasonable.

This is a must see stop in Amarillo. It's a great, fun experience. Between our waitress, Callie, and myself, we got my husband to eat some "mountain oysters." Something he swore he would never do. He was surprised that they weren't all that bad. The produce is super fresh. Biggest disappointment were our steaks. They were cut very thin and way over salted. Also not the tenderest steaks I've eaten. You will definitely need a steak knife. My service dog, Norton, thoroughly enjoyed the pieces he was given. Other than the steaks, it was a great experience!
