Was next to the Hampton Inn. This place would be out of business in San Antonio, but I wasnât in SA. It was serviceable. Tasted good, actually had a nice tomatillo sauce on the table. Just donât look around too closely at the environment or the food. Was crowded.

We stopped at La Casita just passing through to our final destination. We took a chance, and it paid off! My group was a party of 8. The waiter easily accommodated us, even though there were several other large groups eating already. From the start of the meal, the red and green salsas were delicious. Tip: you have to ask for the green salsa. We all ordered various items from the menu and every single one of us were so pleased with our meals. Punched full of flavor! The shrimp cocktail was huge and received raved reviews from my brother. Do yourself a favor and order a Gordita on the side of your entree. You won't regret It! Overall, food and service was on point! We may have to stop again on our way home in a few days!
We were looking for a Mexican food restaurant to eat at between basketball games at the high school. My friend told me about El Taquito. We took a big group (15 parents). What an AMAZING surprise!!! We are VERY picky when it comes to our Mexican food. This place was SPOT ON!!! The food was fresh and VERY tasty!!! The staff was friendly and the service was FABULOUS!!! And it was VERY inexpensive! 3 of us ate for under $30 and that included drinks and a small appetizer!!! We will DEFINITELY be headed back here!! (Tip: The restaurant is behind a car wash so you may miss it if you're not looking -- turn it at the small mall and then make your way back.. if you turn in at the car was it won't get you to the restaurant).

We stopped on a Sunday morning to get breakfast tacos. They were delicious, generous with the stuffings, homemade tortillas, and good salsa. The prices are very reasonable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will go back again, maybe for lunch or dinner.

Nice looking place on the top of the hill, but beyond that, the food was not that impressive. Service was ok, but the food was fairly bland and not very tasty. We won't be going back again.

We love Mexican food. We've tried every single TexMex restaurant in our local area, about 50 mile radius from our home. Patron is without a doubt the best. We love their fajita nachos! The menu is large and often has dishes not found at other local restaurants. we drive over 20 miles one-way to eat at this super restaurant.
