I stopped by the Scholtzsky's on Rufe Snow in Watauga for their Birthday special. It was a free small Original sandwich with purchase of a lg drink and chips. The drive through was pretty busy so I went inside. The restaurant was clean and only had a short line. The server promptly took my order and gave me my drink up and chips. After about five minutes my order was ready. The only complaint that I had was that the ladies that finished the sandwiches seemed to have trouble calling out the names...seems like just using the order number might be easier. The sandwich was very good...along with the salt and vinegar chips it made for a good lunch.Next time I'm in the area there's a good chance that I'll trade with them again.
Drove sixteen miles to try Tex's Star Grill. Best thing about that visit was seeing a Baskin-Robbins right across the road. So I bought two quarts each of my favorites, chocolate almond and jamocha almond fudge. Scarfed down a quart of the chocolate almond as soon as I got home. I'll be back!
Personal sized Pizza Hut products are served fresh and hot. The counter staff is efficient and friendly. The eating area is clean and convenient. Healthy choices ...mac-n-cheese, pre-packaged salads and milk as well as standard convenience store faire (Slushies, cookies, chips, hot dogs, popcorn, etc) Prices are very reasonable and it is very easy in, easy out. Near to the deli area so if you don't find what you are looking for here...go over to the deli and pick from the case of pre-made sandwiches and salads or have them make you a fresh sub then come back over, have them ring you up and add fresh fruit smoothie. Fun place to people watch. This says Haltom City, but is actually Watauga.

It isn't often that we eat pizza, but when we do, we often compares the others to PJ except of course, non chain-restaurant. They do have a much better taste and as the ads stated - better ingredients. Having a few places to get pizza, it's good to know that this place is closed by.

A simple order of two happy meals--how can you go wrong with that? I'm glad my grandkids are happy-go-lucky because the drive-through meals were not as ordered and I hadn't checked until I met them for lunch at school. For instance, when they ask if you want girl or boy happy meals, I would think you would get two boy toys instead of a ninja turtle in one (making one boy very happy) and a little blue stuffed heart in the other one (making the other boy state--that's what his 4 year old sister had received) When you ask for a hamburger with just ketchup, getting a regular happy meal cheeseburger with everything on it makes for a messy job of scraping off cheese and other condiments with a napkin. When I was telling my daughter about our experience, you apologized and said "Oh, I should have told you to go to another one, that McDonalds ALWAYS get the orders wrong!" Good to know--won't be going back there.

Visited at 11:45 am on a Sunday and found restaurant very busy. We had to wait a few minutes in line to order and then maybe a 5-8 minute wait for the food.We ordered the gyro dinner and the chicken kabob dinner. Portions were large and we were able to feed two adult and a 5 and 8 year old.Everything was super fresh. Restaurant was clean, service was top notch. Highly recommended!!!
