The food is always fresh and good here. The people that work here are always upbeat and nice and go way beyond what you see at other fast food places. They get gold stars for customer service!
We were so hot & hungry from fishing all day at Keith Lake. Subs were delicious! Better than Subway. I had a medium Italian sub. I didn't have breakfast, and the sandwich was really good, so I went back for a medium meatball sub. Some of it was a snack later in the day. Makes good leftovers. There is Powerade in the drink fountain which was great for replacing electrolytes. The drink fountain has lots of drink options, including Cherry Dr. Pepper. My husband was a volunteer firefighter for many years, so we love the concept behind this place. We also like the firehouse decor. There is a shopping center next door. On the Saturday evening we were there, the parking lot was empty. No problem parking the boat trailer.
Our first visit for lunch we were impressed. Need more places like this. Old school restaurant... the food was fantastic... and the service was good. We want to try the breakfast now. Top-notch place!

I have been to this restaurant at least 4-5 times since we arrived here in early August (we LOVE Popeye's....just not this particular store). Every single time we have been there, they have forgotten at least one thing we've ordered (and once, 3 things we ordered). I have been in the habit of checking things in the drive thru anyway to make sure I don't have to return to the store to fetch something they forgot. Since most of my time spent here is in the drive thru, I'm not sure what the problem is IN the store itself. But, last night was what prompted me to write this. We arrived at about 5:30 PM and placed an order (3 Bonafide Big Boxes, chicken tenders, 2 spicy, 1 mild, ordered the sides, a large order of onion rings and 3 apple pies). Ok. It's the DINNER hour people. And, while we were there, there were maybe 6-8 other vehicles that came through, but 3 of us (2 other vehicles and ourselves), were asked to pull off to a parking space and they would bring it to us. It's Texas, it's hot (yes, we had the air on, but the sun WILL still beat down on you), we were hungry and tired (long day of errands) and just wanted to get home and eat as we still had some chores that needed done before bed. We sat there for 22 minutes waiting for our food. Where is it written that 22 MINUTES equals FAST food? If they were that ill-prepared for a SUNDAY when lots of people eat out after church, etc., and this being the dinner hour, they need to just give up. I left a bad review for forgotten things from their survey receipt the other day....and I sincerely doubt I ever hear a word about any of it. I still love Popeye's and I will continue to go there, but, I will be more prepared for having to wait and making sure all of my order is there. I haven't had ONE single order that was right yet....smh.

Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers could
I love Whataburger & had not had it in a long time. Reason being, they almost always get the order wrong. It's been more than a year so I thought I'd try it again. In fact, we went 3 times in less than 2 weeks. Each time there was something wrong with the order. 1st time the order was wrong & cold. 2nd time the order was wrong again. 3rd time it took more than 20 minutes to get the food that had set on the counter until someone could sort the 'who's - who'. The employees were extremely nice but things are still not flowing from the kitchen.
the food was hot and fresh but you better check your order before leaving. They always seem to get the sides wrong or forget part of the order like the pepper. I have spoken to the manager many times about this and he has made improvements but still I suggest checking before leaving also it's better to go in instead of the drive thru because you can watch them fill the order

I'm sure they do a large amount of business being close to a large refinery, but they are unclean & rude. Made the mistake of stopping by after school with grandson. I ordered a sandwich. It didn't smell right & the paper it was wrapped in looked like it had previously been trampled on the floor with unidentifiable 'stuff' on it. Needless to say, I did not eat it. Will never be back.
