The raw oysters were excellent, and also the combination fish plates. My husband and I shared one, as did our friends, and it was just perfect. It didn't hurt that the Cowboy game was on the TV's, and the atmosphere was exciting! We were not rushed at all which made for a very pleasant evening. Thank you.

Arrived as a party of 2 and told it would be about 20 min wait. That was fine. But after 40 min and people going in that came after us we decided to go check. We were told that they seat bigger parties than 2 before they did us. Tried to say they had called our name but we were right there the whole time. After checking they said it would be at least another 40 min wait. Needless to say we left. Went down to Lafours seafood and were served immediately.Nita, we're very sorry to hear this. We never want to make you wait or feel unappreciated. We'd like to hear more about your experience and how we can make this right. Please reach out to our Guest Engagement Team at 1-800-983-4637 so we can speak to you directly. Thanks!

We happened to be visiting in town and remembered we liked this place last year so decided to go again. We were pleasantly greeted as soon as we entered and immediately seated. There is a small room to the left as you enter and it was full of people and the main dining area had several people as well. The place was clean and has both booth and table seating as well as a small bar that you can sit at, which also had a few customers. There is a large separated room, similar to a glassed sunroom with loads of seating but no on e was in that section. The staff were all friendly. The menu has many selections of appetizers, burgers, salads, steaks and such to be appealing to most any customer. We ordered the BBQ Brisket PoBoy and Chicken tenders with curly fries and tea. Both were plenty of food. The PoBoy was huge and easily could have fed two people with average appetites. It was stuffed full with shredded and chunk brisket pieces in BBQ sauce. The chicken fingers come in an order of 3 or 6 and were fried perfect and not at all greasy. The batter was thin and crisp with plenty of chicken inside. The curly fries were great but I seem to remember they had a bit more seasoning the last time. They were still good though and generous serving. The tenders come with country gravy which was very thick and the coloring was off from the usual as well as it being a bit to peppery for my taste. They have TV's everywhere of varying sizes with most all, if not all, being on some sports activity. . The food was served timely and piping hot. The server did not return during the entire meal but came as we were finishing to see if we wanted some more tea. We enjoyed the place and will return again in the future when we are in town.

This has quickly become a local favorite. In a restored old building, the décor is funky and eclectic and, combined with a great selection of mostly classic western soundtracks, provides a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Good cold longnecks enhance the flavors of classic barbecue, best catfish in town, burgers, etc. They do not sell wine, but will open what you bring and offer setups for the hard stuff.

Stopped in for dinner with no reservation - told to choose a table and then we sat and waited. Finally were asked for our drink order which came quite quickly. She then took our order and was very friendly. I ordered salad, shrimp, and onion rings - received french fries instead of onion rings - when I brought it to her attention, she went and ordered my onion rings. Others ordered oyster platter and seafood platter - seafood platter had catfish, oysters, and shrimp - all were good. Oyster platter had a couple oysters that were chewy and not good tasting. Salads were limp (setting too long) -

"..a gem of a restaurant off the cityâs main street. It has a wine store, a large bar with about 20 (craft)beers on tap, and a restaurant, where you can eat(locally sourced) antelope sliders or quail tacos.â âTexas Monthly
A gem of place for Kerrville! The menu choices were good and the food delicious! Definitely start with the brussel sprouts...you wonât be disappointed! We had the quail lettuce wraps also as a starter and would have loved it as an entree! Tender and juicy quail deliciously doused with Sriracha. The Sloppy Mo Jo extended my love for lamb. Cooked to perfection and nicely seasoned for that true Mediterranean taste.Food, taste, service and choices were all outstanding! Beer and wine, plenty to choose and try. Plenty of free parking across the street in a covered garage so donât pass the opportunity to stop in.
