This was our first time visiting. Everyone was friendly and we ended up getting an amazing hibachi chef! He was juggling fire by the end of it and doing all sorts of crazy stuff. We had so much fun and the food was fantastic. When we left we were fine. However, on the truck ride home we both began to experience some intestinal discomfort. About halfway home we were considering stopping in some nearby woods but we decided to risk it and made it home just in time. Loved the whole experience but I am afraid we can never go back after the intestinal consequences that lasted a full day after eating there. We got the chicken hibachi so maybe we were just unlucky.

Very much enjoyed the ambiance and the food. Each of our dishes: curry chicken, fusion filet and chicken noodle bowl was seasoned to perfection, perfectly cooked and served at the right temperature. Service was spot on; we never had to ask to have water filled and dishes were cleared quickly. Staff were all friendly and the chef checked in with us. The walls and art were tastefully chosen. It's clean and well maintained. Would go back in a flash. Enjoy this great little place!!

My first visit to the restaurant was with a group of 15 ladies. We were promptly greeted and seated at a reserved table. The service was excellent from the beginning of the meal to the end. Our waitress was prompt and courteous. The menu was extensive and included special luncheon items. The food was quality and served with nice appeal. I will definitely visit the restaurant again.

We took family there last week, hibachi grill was their first experience. I guess its hit or miss who sits with you but the couple seated with us had screaming kids and I think they were fighting. It was not a good experience mainly because of the sour puss people at our table. Our chef was good, not excellent but just good. The steak was excellent!

Don't let the building fool you. Good Chinese food, great egg rolls, rice etc. Building is somewhat a distraction, but it's clean. No buffet either as I stay away from the buffet. Super value too!

Yamato Hibachi & Sushi

Tried for the first time. We have eaten at similiar Japanese restaurants and have enjoyed the food and the preparation. We arrived shortly after 5 pm and were seated immediately. Our table had 2 other couples. The chef came out and started preparing our meal. The things that we all ordered was the ribeye, the chicken and scallops, the new York strip and several sushi rolls. The first put was some mushroom soup and a salad. The soup was a good start. The salad was a green salad with our choice of dressing. Next was the sushi rolls. We had the rainbow roll, California roll and the dragon roll. The rolls were large and each piece was more than a bite. There were 8 to 10 pieces in a roll. Then the preparation show begin. The flipping of the spatulas and the tossing of the eggs and the onion volcanoes. Although we noticed other chefs were more skilled in the presentation. Even though the rest of the meal turned out very good. The fried rice and noodles were very good. The steaks, chicken and scallops were very tender and cooked just right. We enjoyed our meal and will be back. One could just have one of the plates and it would be around $22 a person. The rolls were around $12. Other places it is hard getting out under $40 a person.
