Checked out Olde Towne Espresso and Cafe this morning in Aransas Pass and absolutely love this little cafe! Super cozy. Friendly staff. I ordered the Texas Jam. Toast with egg, ham, swiss cheese, and jalapeño jelly. Snickerdoodle iced coffee was amazing as well. They also offer a wide variety of sandwiches! Check them out !! (I recently moved to AP and havenât been blown away by too many of the restaurants. This place is the new fav.)
We ate here, for the 1st time, last Saturday night. The food was delicious. Our party had the seafood platter, coconut shrimp, fried fish & calamari. The salad bar was very fresh and my husband said the fried oysters were the best that heâs ever had. We will definitely be back.

Down home comfort food! Two of us had the Chicken Fried Steak, one had the Chicken Fried Chicken. The beef vegetable soup was wonderful, the entrees were really generous and very good. We will be back next time we're in the area! Dinner for three, with three teas was under $40.

So we went again. Our fist time was amazing. 2nd not so. Were seated and handed a paper menu... Thought oh no and was right.Lobster bisque tasted sour and there was no Lobster chunks in it this time. There was no shrimp and grits on this menu all just fried not very tempting items, so I went with the black and blue po-boy mistake. The bread was hard the fish with blackend, but had so much blue cheese on top of it that you couldn't taste the fish at all there was no vegetables on it at all no nothing. The smoked fish dip that we loved with the fresh crisp chips well this time it didn't taste so fresh didn't taste very smoked at all and those chips are now store bought it was such a disappointment we won't go back.

Came for lunch. Canal, marina activity, and sea birds made for good entertainment. I ordered the fish sandwich on a sourdough roll. I had the fish fried and it was super fresh and crispy. Sourdough roll was perfect with the fish. Came with tomato, pickles, onion, and iceberg lettuce to garnish. The lettuce was torn into small pieces which rendered it useless, but the sandwich didn't suffer. It came with one side and I chose the mixed salad. Great lunch and wonderful ambiance. Service was perfunctory.
