Going to a chain restaurant is always a gamble. Usually depends on how good the management is. Here the servers were active, engaging, and efficient. Wife and I went fir a quick bite of cheese fries (we are the self proclaimed experts) and they were very good. Hot, fresh, with enough toppings. All in all, a nice visit with an old friend.

Whether itâs just my wife and I, or our 12 person extended family, or 20 the folks are Los Hermanos make us feel at home. The food is great, the bartenders make some good drinks, and the servers are always friendly quick and knowledgeable. Want quiet? Ask for the front room. Big group, the main room. Watching the game? Go to the bar. Try the frog dip as an appetizer. Just do it. Youâll like it.

Food and service was very good. Salsa was good, Iâm not a fan of cilantro, but their salsa wasnât overpowered with it. Chips were thin and fresh. Food arrived fresh and hot. They seem to do a lot of phone orders for both takeout and delivery.

Having access to the most wonderful Tex Mex restaurants in San Antonio I was not expecting a restaurant in Forney to even compare but I was pleasantly surprised!!!! The Carnitas tacos were AMAZING and the Fiesta platter was a great sample of various items packed with ingredients! Excellent chips, queso and guacamole. Atmosphere and staff were outstanding!!!! This place is a gem!!!! Excellent prices too. : )

The story on Rio Lerma is that the restaurant is based on family recipes. On our first visit, the restaurant had a good crowd, so we sat at the bar with another couple. Good margarita's and the brisket quesadilla was extremely yummy! The atmosphere was nice, although maybe nothing unique, but comfortable.

I ordered from their âspecialty tacoâ menu and it wasnât special. The tacos took awhile to prepare (compared with the âbuild your ownâ option.) The salmon taco was bland and over cooked. (Might have been frozen and thawed out.) The shrimp taco was better, but still not great (brown avocado and skimpy fixinâs.) Chips and salsa come with your order, which was the best part. Itâs like a Chipotle wanna be and a Torchyâs wanna be had an ugly baby.
