Things to do in Huntsville
Long John Silver's is always a good choice to have in town, so it's good that this location got reopened after being closed for awhile. I've been in several times since the reopening and the fish and prices have both been good. If you're passing through on the freeway, just take 75 as the business route through town and you'll find them just south of the university.
This is a food truck type setting that is across the street from the Walker County Courthouse. I ordered the fish taco. Food was served warm with a tasty remoulade sauce. Very reasonable prices. You sit outside but many of the tables are shaded. Great lunch alternative.

Looking at the outside, and even the inside, you wouldn't expect much. And while it wasn't great, it wasn't bad - chicken fried steak was decent.
Larger than the ones we have been getting and good flavor. There is only one spice level and is middle. It is sort of a truck and they have picnic tables outside. The only problem is no beer. I am not sure if it would be ok to bring your own.

I sat down and ordered a Boudain Ball and when the waitress brought it to the table the outside was cooked however the inside was literally still frozen. They made me another one though and that was done.Their crawfish (spicy) was probably the best Iâve had in at least a couple of years.

The business originally opened in 2015. We took over ownership in November of 2017 and have constantly worked to improve the overall atmosphere and food quality in hopes of creating a family friendly, fun place to come unwind in Huntsville, TX. My family
Patio is under new ownership and menu reflects that. I started out with the crab cakes that were right on the money. The crab cakes had big lumps of blue crab in them with a small amount of panko bread crumbs, just enough to keep them together. The second dish I had was the Ahi tuna mixed with fresh avocado and a light sesame sauce. Both of these dishes were extremely good. I had the homemade buttermilk pie for desert, wow. All three items were great in taste, presentation and value. Lastly the service was 5 star and the newly remodeled dining area topped off the whole experience. A breath of fresh air for your taste buds for sure. Good job and I will be back weekly !!Thank you so much for your 5 star review and kind words. We are happy to know that you enjoyed your meal and your service. We strive to provide the best possible food in a fun atmosphere with the best possible service. Thank you again for leaving us such a kind review. We canât wait to serve you again soon!
