Authentic Irish Pub offering a full menu of Irish and Scottish and American menu items. Huge selection of Irish Whiskeys, Scotch and Texas Whiskeys. Large beer selection. Live music 5-6 times each week including two weekly traditional Irish sessions. Pub
This restaurant feels out of place for a town the size of McKinney or really any town in Texas. It has more of a northern pub feel. The food is decent enough, nothing bad on the menu and the music (when it's there) is a nice touch. The only downside to this place is that the dining area upstairs feels neglected (service wise). It tends to be busy and only 1 person waiting tables.Thank you for the very kind review. So glad that enjoyed The Celt. We hope to see you again very soon. If there is anything we can do to make your next visit even more pleasant please let me know. I'm usually here. Cheers! Stan.

Eat. Drink. Be Happy. What does it take to be a regular at Bar Louie Allen? An enjoyment of the craft and the desire to experience something out of the ordinary. From our Chicago roots, we've always known that having a comfortable place to hang out, get g
I am visiting Texas from the UK and staying locally with friends .They were very excited to take me to Bar louis tonight. On arrived we were seated at a table and the aerved took our orders for drinks .Another server came to the table and demanded photo ID for everyone. We are all over 60 years old.My friends had driving licenses but I only had a photcopy of my passport as I do not carry the original in case it would get lost or stolen. The server said that was not acceptable and I could not be served any alcohol .We questioned that and he said since last week everyone buying alcohol had to provide a photo ID.The whole experience was very embarrasing not only to me as I had ruined our night our but also to my hosts.Beware you will not be served alcohol unless you can show Photo ID.Hi Linda, I'm just replying to your second review here. Very disappointing to receive multiple 1 star ratings. Again, our apologies. Here is our response to your other review: Linda, we are sorry we were unable to serve you alcohol. We could have served you anything that wasn't alcoholic. We are considered a private club(which means anyone who consumes alcohol must be a member with a valid ID) and WE must abide by State and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Laws. This was not personal by any means and are very disappointed we couldn't provide you with a great experience. We hope you enjoy the rest of your visit here in USA and the great state of Texas. If you're able to grab your physical passport, please come back and see us! We'd love to see you! Please reach out if there is anything I can do: [email protected]

What a wonderful delight is the latest opening in Allen. The theme is a rustic Colorado mountain lodge right down to the wait staff dressed in flannels and denim. The fare rotates through the seasons like a Seasons 52 but down home rather than tony. The Baja California Burger was as massive as it was savory. This was the first I have ever tasted sweet potato tater tots. Amazing! The service was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Thanks, Ashley, for a great first-time visit.

Nice spot in a strip center. Sat at the bar. Super nice bartender! Had a few small beer tasters until we found what we liked. Many heavier selections. Limited for light beers. Good service with a local bar feel. Had the chicken nachos as recommended. Large serving but just okay. Decent snack.

This place started off as a butcher shop and opened the restaurant recently. We started with the Pickles and the Pig, as well as the smoked onion dip. Both were good, with the sausages (the Pig) being the highlight. I ordered the 6oz Wagyu sirloin and it was one of the best steaks Iâve had in a while. The chicken fried steak and burger were also very good. The only misstep was the side of green beans. They were too sweet, and the sweet overpowered the bacon that was clearly in them. Stick with other sides and you will definitely enjoy your meal.

My husband and i frequent the cajun place across the way from Kellys so we thought we would try it out. Went on a Saturday early evening. Place was full of 30 somethings. My husband and i like a little more fun atmosphere so were disappointed with the dullness. Menu wasn't great, wasn't excited about the food. Going back across the street where the action is, lol
