It is the principal city of the Wichita Falls Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Archer, Clay, and Wichita Counties. According to the 2010 census, it had a population of 104,553, making it the 35th-most populous city in Texas. In addition, its central business district is five miles (8 km) from Sheppard Air Force Base which is home to the Air Force's largest technical training wing and the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program, the world's only multi-nationally manned and managed flying training program chartered to produce combat pilots for both USAF and NATO.

With limited options for Italian food in Wichita Falls, we wanted to try a local place. They gave us rolls that could have been fresher. Service was prompt but basic. The waitress did not offer information on the daily specials which were posted but not easily seen as one walked int he door. My dining companion ordered the chicken fettuccini alfredo and I had the chicken pomodore. The servings were average sized, the fettuccini was definitely smaller than the pomodore serving. Unfortunately the chicken in the alfredo tasted "off" and my dining partner would not eat it. It appeared that they use precooked,1/4 inch thick chicken portions as it looked the same in both dishes. As much as I like to support local restaurants, I guess we will go back to the chain restaurant or avoid Italian all together.

Excellent service, best prices and wonderful food. Miaâs chicken Marsala is so fabulous and lunch price only $9.99 which includes a generous portion , salad and rolls. Tea extra but worth it....not water down version like many other restaurants. Everyone at the table got a different dish (lasagna, ricotta, bow tie pasta) and all enjoyed. Why arenât you there! Small business that needs your business. One of my favorite places...should be one of yours!

We had Stromboli's. They were very good, lots of cheese, a little short on veggies. They were good sized and so were their prices. Two stromboli's were just under $20 with tax. Granted we got two meals out of each Stromboli, still, all in all, too rich for our blood. I doubt we'll be back.

I never understood all the "hoop-ta-lau" that surrounds OG. Most servings are pathetically small and way over priced. I simply can't bring myself to pay nearly $20 per person for ANYTHING at OG. Having said that.....my spouse wanted to go there for our anniversary. Now mind you, for the life of me I can't understand why, nevertheless it was our anniversary. Having said that and discretion being the better part of valor, we went. She had some dish that was nothing more than three flat slices of zucchini and two little smoked chicken breasts. I had stuffed ravioli with zuppa soup. Also an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. Of course the usual breadsticks and salad. Soup was very good. Bread sticks were moist and warm. Cheese sticks were great. As far as I'm concerned that's where it stops. Her main course didn't even cover half the plate and there wasn't near as much ravioli on my plate as there was in the picture in the menu. False advertising as far as I'm concerned. And I had the pleasure of pay over $36 for "all the above" (and we both had water to drink). In OG's defense....the service was outstanding and the $36 did include a cheesecake dessert to go....again miniscule! Suffice it to say that unless I'm dragged in there kicking and screaming all the way.....never again.

Doesn't matter if it is a business lunch, family gathering or couples just having a fun night out... Johnny Carino's never disappoints. Keeping good wait staff has to challenging, but the staff at Carino's has always been top notch. I'm the guy who always just orders off the menu, no fussy stuff, but at Carino's, they have told me how to order my favorite dish (add this, leave out X, Y, and Z) and it always comes out perfect.

Nicely decorated, but food doesnât live up to the decor. Had an AWESOME and FUNNY waitress, but not enough food for the money. Have had lobster ravioli before with no lobster (ravioli was cheese filled.. not lobster filled.. and shrimp was chopped up and passed off as lobster). Have to pay extra for salad- should be included with dinner. Rolls are delicious! Enjoyed Shrimp Alvino.. just not enough for the money. Definitely have other favorite Italian restaurants to enjoy in Wichita Falls.
