This is a small Starbucks. The service can be a little slow sometimes; however, that is true at several other Starbucks I've been to in other cities. It's really hit or miss with their service. The drive-thru person is always very friendly.

I went here for the first time today. The lunch prices were very reasonable. The staff was also very helpful and gave full attention to customers. When I had a question they either answered me forthright or referred to an index of herb etc. to look up the answer for me! I just took the multivitamin made by the owner and so far I like it! I will be back!

My husband and I were starving pretty early in the morning and needing a really good breakfast. We were traveling through and happened upon Cafe Texan thanks to some internet searches and man, it did not disappoint! It was like stepping back into a time capsule of the places I want to as a girl, that made real southern breakfast. The waitress smiled when I asked if the grits were real and answered "of course" and proceeded to take my custom order. I had asked for decaf coffee, which apparently people typically don't ask for, but she brewed up a fresh pot and brought me a perfect, steaming hot cup. I mention all this because I see some reviews that say they aren't as accommodating to travelers, which was the opposite of what I experienced. Perhaps because we were grateful and I was obviously excited to have the food offerings I grew up on...as they say, attitude is everything! Our breakfast was cooked perfectly and ready in a flash. It was so good, we might even go out of our way to come here if/when we are back in the area!

Visited with friends from out-of-town for lunch. Two of us had soup & half a sandwich (Tuna), one had shrimp tacos and the other had a club sandwich. Good portions and very tasty. Finished off with fried pie (blueberry, peach, apple and apricot). Service by Maggie was excellent. We eat here about every other week and always have a good experience. Nothing fancy, it is a converted candy shop with plain tables & chairs. Locally owned.

We ate in the bar twice during our stay in Huntsville. Outside of a significant roof leak during a pop-up rain storm - everything here was great. We loved the Orange & Bleu burger and the BearKat Cheerleader burger. Great Burgers & Great fries.Cold Dos Equis - Good Times!

We visited at the height of lunch hour and the service was good compared to how busy the wait staff was. The place was clean. The food, however, was average. I will say the portions for the childrenâs plates are huge for the prices. I wouldnât go out of the way to go here, but it is an option for clean food and good service if youâre in the area.
