You need to stop here if you are anywhere near this place and love BBQ. I just got a bunch of brisket but they have all your standard BBQ options. I did try some of the sausage and ribs from a friend of mine and they were excellent. The brisket was the best I have ever had. I have been to some of the more popular spots in the Dallas area and this was better. Smoked perfectly with the perfect amount of smoke and rub.Casual spot in the back of a little strip mall right of Highway 67. Me and 4 of my friends stumbled upon this spot since we rented a house down in this area for the Labor Day weekend. This is every bit as good without the wait of the places in Dallas. Super casual and little bit cramped dining room though.

I'm from North Carolina on vacation visiting family an always love going out to eat here because of the many many choices and even independent spots. As everyone who has read my reviews I am a fooddude (a person who delivers food to restaurants) and I always look for sanitation and taste, this place was very clean, and on a Sunday night it was very quiet. The pulled pork was GREAT!!!! And being from a state where pulled pork is the main staple, this was a good comparison. So yes I would recommend this place and I would eat here again!!! I went to the one in Arlington Texas on Collins ave. great place and friendly people.

Had a friend rave about this place on Facebook, specifically the Cajun turkey legs. Tried the regular and Cajun. Nothing to write home about. However, the side order of greens were good.

I came in with a coupon and got a free gallon of tea after purchasing a Family XL Pack. You do not have to get the XL, but it is worth it for a group of people to feed. The regular is awesome too. Yet, for my individual order I purchased a beef strip sandwich with onions and a side of mash potatoes. The place is friendly, and you can see what you are getting before you actually get it. I am not talking about looking a some video screen I am talking about actually viewing the food. They use to give out samples, but I am not sure if they do that anymore. The tea is a little too sweet for me, but you can adjust how you want your tea.

Very small Mom and Pop place - serves the surrounding community with great take out.I always get the BBQ beef which has always been good. I tried the stuffed baked potato with meat which was good, but I've had better.For frame of reference: Dave's is located diagonally across the street from Red Lobster and Olive Garden.You'll see and smell Dave's from the BBQ cooking on the pit in the parking lot.I always experience great service from the lady at the counter.
