We found this restaurant on social media and were so glad we did! A very personable couple own the place and we had a nice chat with them while we were there. They have a good selection of both barbecue and seafood dishes with a cajun flair. All that we tried was outstanding and we highly recommend this place.

4 of us had lunch here today and it was great. We had the armadillo eggs (featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives) and they were so good! We also had the fried catfish which was delicious also. Wait staff was attentive and courteous. This is our first time in Houston and we will definitely return.

This is our first time in Texas, we are looking for a Texas barbecue place and this one came out due to the review. The brisket was Very Very moist and great tasting. One of the best brisket that I have ever taste. It is very cheap and I highly recommended this place Thank you for stopping by! We hope you'll be able to visit us again. P.S. Check us out on Rudys.com. We ship our bbq nationwide!

We made our initial visit to AJ's based upon a coupon we were given with the purchase of an appliance for our home. When we arrived, we were told that AJ's owner would not honor the coupon. The reason is not our problem and we should not have been penalized due to a dispute between AJ's and the coupon promotion company. Service was friendly and our BBQ sandwiches were good, but a bad first impression means we're unlikely to return especially with great competitive BBQ choices nearby.

Our family ate here Friday night. We've eaten at this location several times in the past, as well as other locations. Every time we have eaten at one, the service has been good, as has the food, and the prices are good. I had a chopped BBQ beef sandwich with sides of pinto beans and corn on the cob. They are always bringing around fresh bread, more than you really need. The meat is very good. The sandwich was huge. I was only able to eat half and took the other half home for another day. Yes, there are better (and pricier) BBQ places in the area, but Spring Creek is consistently good BBQ at decent prices.
