Paul McKinney, a retired sea captain, commercial real estate broker and investor located on Camp Bowie West, saw an opportunity when the former Steak & Ale building down the street at 7101 Camp Bowie West went on the market. He purchased it out of bankrup
We were greeted and welcomed immediately upon entering the building. The hostess took us to a nice quite table in the back so we could visit and enjoy our time together. Our server was attentive and took great care of us. The salad bar makes quite a statement - so many things to choose! We all enjoyed our main course-I really liked my Grilled Chicken tacos. We will be back.

One of the best Applebee's we've ever eaten at - our waiter, Kasey, was exceptional - helped get the perfect menu choices and was prompt in helping us the entire time.Clubhouse sandwich was great and onion ring appetizer was the best - the side order of rings with a meal is 5 rings....but the best deal is the 2 for $20 and get the onion rings for your appetizer - huge tray!

I have visited this location on several occasions. Their food is fresh and delicious however it is pretty loud no matter when you go. Parking is horrible! They have a very small parking lot and the street parking is limited and you pay. I had the sugar burger with candied bacon, caramelized onion, grilled peaches, arugula and jalapeño jam. It was one of the best burgers Iâve ever had!!! A little pricy but the burgers are huge!

Our food is always fresh and always from scratch. Unique New Orleans recipes. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Private parties, full bar and live music every Friday night.
I brought my wife and son here because we were all jonesing for seafood. There were plenty of open tables in this nicely decorated place. Our server greeted us and we ordered the seafood bruschetta and calamari appetizers. They were fresh and delicious. The calamari was tender and flavorful. My son ordered the King Crab legs with a baked potato, my wife got the saffron salmon and I got the scallops risotto. The king crab legs were enormous and my son devoured every morsel. My wife loved her salmon dish which was perfectly cooked. I was impressed with my dish as well. The scallops were beautifully cooked. Seared and browned on the top and bottom, they were wonderfully tender and buttery. It is really easy to over cook scallops and Blu chefs did a wonderful job. The risotto was a little bit mushier than I like, but the flavor was excellent. Total bill came to $159 which included drinks. Donât freak out over the prices....my sonâs king crab legs came to $55 alone, otherwise it would have been about a $100 meal which is reasonable considering the quality. I think you need to GET HERE!

I am always looking for a cool place to eat outside. This place is it! Our food was good, the beer was cold and the atmosphere was fantastic! Its Texas so outdoor dining isn't always best but if you are looking for outdoor seating this is worth trying! We will go back for sure.
