We had two couples for dinner and both cuples elected for the deep fried shrimp dinner. Service was good and the shrimp were plump and were cooked to perfection but the fries were soggy and oversaturated with oil that was used far too long. Cold slaw and charo bean sides were good! Will go back and give it a second chance!

Chain restaruant, surprised you don't have it.
we went for $5 EL Presidente Margarita's on Thursday night and were disappointed with the service. The staff was inexperienced and extremely slow. There were empty tables but no one to clean them up in a timely fashion to keep the people going in and out. We waited for 30 plus minutes to sit down and then a while longer to order drinks. We ordered 2 drinks at a time knowing they wouldn't come back anytime soon. the food and drinks were up to Chili's standards, they just have to hire more staff or train what they have....would not go back to this one again.

We had dinner at Applebee's last night--5 couples--the menu has lots of selection--we enjoyed one on the $25 combos---but a couple of things could have been better--why was there no bacon bits or parmesan on the Caesar salads---the house salad was much better than the Caesar and was well discussed as each of us had a salad and the comparison was obvious. As well the room was very cold and drafty--I know the weather is poor but someone should figure out how to fix the a/c.
