Located on a terraced hill with an exceptional atmosphere, Switch specializes in Neopolitan pizzas and FRESH regional Italian cuisine with a vast wine cellar.
I havenât reviewed Switch for quite some time... because itâs our âgo toâ place and weâre always impressed with the food, service, drinks... However tonight they introduced their newly remodeled restaurant/bar. Previously they had a quaint 4 person bar which has now been replaced by a grand 20 person bar. The bar top is a spectacular and beautiful Italian marble... but equally important is the new âbar bitesâ menu. So the new bar menu includes a 1/2 dozen really interesting items that were specially crafted by the Chef - each with its unique and wonderful sauce - we actually ordered all of them and debated which was our favorite... I understand there are new entree menu additions too that I look forward to trying. Anyhow a great spot just got better!

Giovanni's doesn't play around. The management here is top notch and the attention their staff pays to customers is fantastic. Apart from their friendly waiters, they also have a lovely traditional Italian ambiance. The murals are my personal fave. Lastly, but never least, the food is very yummy. They offer pretty traditional Italian food, ranging from pizza to limoncello cake to pasta. Insider tip: Get the limoncello cake. It's to die for.Thank you very much..we try our best to achieve the best experience possible!! Please come see us again soon!! we appreciate you just as much!!

Greek, German, Italian and American?Seriously, how good can the food be here?Seriously.. ITS GREAT!I rarely order gyros, most places cannot get Tzatziki sauce correct, its either just yogurt, badly seasoned yogurt, or (shudder) sour cream. I took a chance and ordered the Gyro Platter, what a brilliant choice that was!Salad was generous, crisp, and cold.BREAD IS TO DIE FOR!!!!!!!!! Served with olive and dipping spices, also well balanced.Gyro meat was fork tender and moist with that delectable flavor that is only reproduced by a master chef. Tzatziki sauce delicately kissed the gryo meat forming a union of gyro perfection. Eating it put my taste buds swooning with delight.I really wanted to eat dessert, but I had eaten every bite and still left some on my plate and was about at the "stomach explosion" zone.Recommend highly!
Top-rated Texas destination offering bed & breakfast accommodations and fine dining in Palestine, Texas. Created by award-winning international chef, Simon Webster, this multi-faceted venue is perfect for special events, weekend getaways or memorable dini
For the second time, we booked a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. This year was the meal was just as fabulous as we remembered it to be the last time. Chef Simonâs roasted turkey, side dishes, and desserts were prepared perfectly. We love the atmosphere of this out-of-the-way restaurant & plan on going back for a pizza night very soon.
We stopped in while traveling through Palestine and decided to give Mazzios a shot. We ordered a pizza and had a seat. The inside was clean, but very dated. I felt like I was back in the 90's. The pizza took quite a while to cook and it wasn't busy. We got the original crust. It was a little thick and kind of crunchy on the bottom, but it wasn't burnt. The flavor was subpar, akin to chuckecheese type of pizzas. It was not the best. I would recommend ordering pizza to go from dominos or another establishment over this place. It wasn't down right terrible, but not great by any means. Perhaps their pasta dishes are better? I don't know...I can say, though, that we will not be back.
