I have been to Soulman's all over the local area and this was the first time I had sweet tea that was not sweet at one. Though I was told that the owner prides himself on the quality of the sweet tea. The three tables I queried agreed with me that the tea required more sugar. The exit door bell seemed like a last minute Hobby Lobby clearance item. The ring is that of despair. Too much pepper on the mash potatoes, overcooked okra, and toast that barely had a crisp.

Went there after a customer meeting I had the two meat plate . Bets part was the green beans and tea. Ribs terrible dry way over done very little meat and almost inedible . Turkey tasted warmed over maybe from the day before dry as well. Yea good tea and green beans for 15.00 bucks basically lol maybe a bad day but Iâd say not again if ya asked me.

I now know where all the Mr. and Miss Santa Clauses come to have their secret meetings. The barbecue speaks for itself as does the other meats from the menu which are all excellent. The sides can be ordered anyway you want as well. The staff is just awesome and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. My favorites were the lean sliced beef sandwich and the macaroni and cheese with a side of okra. Try the jalapeno cheese sausage, you won't regret it! Nice family atmosphere and the location is easy to find.

Who would have you ever thought BBQ in a Shell Station. Itâs absolutely amazing, from the food to the father and son thatâs cooks all the items offered there. Only openThursday Friday and Saturday and be sure to get there before 5 p.m. because they always sell out.
