Getting close to Cleveland, Texas we searched for Bar-b-Q on TripAdvisor. Duke's Bar-b-Q had an excellent rating so we decided to give it a try. I had sausage, brisket and ribs with coleslaw and beans for sides. The plate of food was huge and after eating the brisket, which would actually melt in your mouth, I had to order a pound of brisket to bring home. This is a family owned and operated business, the service was great. Will make a special trip back soon.

Best place for short-ribs I've ever been to. Wow these ribs were good. Wish I could take the restaurant to where I live. I would waaaay over eat. The meat falls off the bone. Prices are very fair also. The girls are exceptional also.

The Rock'n R BBQ is one of those proverbial "hole in the wall" places on the side of the road a few miles east of Cleveland, Texas on Texas 105. And I was not disappointed! Everything was outstanding. After taste testing their truly delicious lean brisket (sliced), tasty smoked sausage, amazing chicken and dumplings and we'll-seasoned shrimp and crab gumbo, I selected their "melt in your mouth" breaded pork chops, home made mashed potatoes and sweet BBQ beans. The pork chops came with a flavorful dark brown gravy that enhanced the chops even more than expected. The flavors were a true delight to the senses. This is no fancy restaurant; it's a little metal building on the side of a busy country highway, but the food is outstanding and the service friendly and helpful. I rate this restaurant five out of five stars. Well done Rock'n R BBQ!
